The LCHS Art Department is proud of our Arts Academy
program and the artwork our students produce. We hope you get the
chance to see LCHS student work in the Spring Art shows, in the art
showcase off the commons, or the student gallery on this site. Use the links above to find information about
classes, to read updates about art shows or competitions, to get your
art history assignments, or look at some great examples of student art
projects.
The Graduating Seniors Art Show will be on June 6th, and the show will be up about 2 hours before the ceremony, in the commons. Any senior who has taken art classes at LCHS and wants to show their work can feel free to bring up to 3 pieces of art to Mrs. Chapman's room by June 3rd. All artwork may be picked up when you pick up your diploma on June 18.

WE NEED STUFF!!!Please check around your home and get rid of those old magazines, baby food jars, frozen dinner trays, butter tubs, non-corrugated cardboard... anything that can be used for art projects - we'd be happy to take it off your hands! Thanks!
