Dear Parents,

Bible words for next week are "The Lord your God will be with you..." from Joshua 1:9.  Please practice with your child and remember to talk about the meaning of the verse.

I am still collecting hearts for acts of kindness.

Remember to enroll for next year.  If you need an enrollment form, I can get one for you.

March 18-20 will be student appreciation days. The three day class will be participating on Wednesday, March 18.  Those children may wear silly hats and socks to school that day.  The two day afternoon class will participate on Thursday, March 19.  Those children may wear pajamas to school. The two day children should pack a lunch on the 19th as we will join our kindergarten friends for lunch.

You will be able to purchase used books for 25 cents at the book exchange on March 18 (even if you did not send in used books).  Send in a dollar in a labeled envelop and we will go shopping.  Those of you that have sent books in will be able to shop without the dollar.  This will be a fun day.  Parents of the two day children may bring them to school to shop on Wednesday.  Check in at the office and they will direct you to the Book Exchange.

On March 25 we will start to go to the school library to check books out.  The first day we go the "big kids" will read to us.  We will visit the library from March 25 - May 27.  We will check our last book out on May 20 and return it on May 27.  Please return each book the following week.  We will check out only one book each week.  Remember to find a special safe place to keep the book while you have it at home.  Read to your child everyday!

Enjoy the weekend with your children. We have had another great week!

Teaching for Him,

Mrs. Lorraine Sherman
