Since 1979, Lighthouse Christian Academy has provided the community with an opportunity to educate 3 and 4 year old pre-schoolers through 6^th grade.   In a safe and loving environment, Lighthouse Christian Academy offers your children a strong Christ centered education where each child can achieve academic excellence.  Our Kindergarten through 6^th grade programs follow the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards.  Checkout our new Preschool programs and options on their webpage.

 We are a regionalized Christian school located in Southern Ocean County.  We receive support from local churches, such as Bayside Chapel, Grace Calvary and Forked River Baptist.  We educate our students in a loving environment to be salt and light in the world.  Our mission is to provide a loving environment with Christ at its center which results in both an academically excellent education and the development of a person who will go into the world to bring Christ into the lives of the people with which they come in contact . 

We provide opportunities to learn music, art, computers, Spanish, physical education, and to attend weekly Chapel programs centered aroung God's Word.  We have an excel/ gifted and talented program for the advanced students as well as one on one assistance and in-class support for those who need remediation. 

At the end of each year, every Kindergarten-6^th grade child is tested and ranked nationally to help pinpoint their strengths and weaknesses.

There is on site after school care provided from 3:30 until 5:30pm.  We intended to provide the option of before school care this coming year.
