Lighthouse Christian Academy

Since 1979, Lighthouse Christian Academy has provided the community with an opportunity to educate 3 and 4 year old pre-schoolers through 6^th grade.   In a safe and loving environment, Lighthouse Christian Academy offers your children a strong Christ centered education where each child can achieve academic excellence.  Our Kindergarten through 6^th grade programs follow the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards.  Checkout our new Preschool programs and options on their webpage.

 We are a regionalized Christian school located in Southern Ocean County.  We receive support from local churches, such as Manahawkin Baptist Church, Bayside Chapel, Grace Calvary and Forked River Baptist.  We educate our students in a loving environment to be salt and light in the world.  Our mission is to provide a loving environment with Christ at its center which results in both an academically excellent education and the development of a person who will go into the world to bring Christ into the lives of the people with which they come in contact . 

We provide opportunities to learn music, art, computers, Spanish, physical education, and to attend weekly Chapel programs centered around God's Word.  We have an excel/ gifted and talented program for the advanced students as well as one on one assistance and in-class support for those who need remediation. 

At the end of each year, every Kindergarten-6^th grade child is tested and ranked nationally to help pinpoint their strengths and weaknesses.

There is on site after school care provided from 3:30 until 5:30pm.
