Within the second hand form Chum Kiu or Seeking the Bridge, students will be introduced to bridging techniques, or making connection to the opponent. This form also stresses redirection of force, and the use of different strikes, and kicks. As the student studies this form more use of contact sparring comes into play, as the student will be proficient at a number of strikes, blocks, and the use of kicks.
