Past Layouts of LAW Online:
These are what the older layout versions of the site have looked like in the past (=
Version 1.0- May 2nd, 2004:
I created LAW: Lee Ann Womack Online because, truthfully, LAW's official site was not posting important Lee Ann news regularly like they should have been, so I decided I'd make my own fan-site for her (plus, Lee Ann and her music has always been the best).
The Greatest Hits album was about to come out very soon, and I posted tv appearances and other cool and important news/articles on her message board trying to alert fans of when she was performing (which the official site was not doing like they should have, until I posted that info. They would change the dates on their news to make it look like they actually had posted it days ago, even when they did not. I think that was very disappointing and it frustrated me a lot too because I checked the news daily and didn't see them update us that often).
Anyways, I loved the comforting-country-home look Lee Ann had on that album cover, so I decided to use it on the top banner. Earlier that year, I forced myself to learn HTML, so I could make my own website look and not use pre-made layouts, and at this time, I was still using the old-fashioned paint program too (so the graphics were not the best quality :P). I created my LAW fan-site using frames, and was very proud of what I had done. I had a fan-listing for LAW going on then. ''The Wrong Girl'' was the current single; I love that song!!!
I spent quite a lot of time working on the site, and I really hope my site helped support Lee Ann and her music (=.

Version 2.0- June 9th, 2004:
I loved the classy pink-shirt-with-pearl pic of Lee Ann, so I had to use it for the next banner. I've seen other sites with really cool shape designs on them, so I wanted to try something new this time, and tried my best with the circles. In turned out looking ok, but once again, using the paint program, the banner was not the best quality. I stopped using frames from then on with this layout.

Version 3.0- July 22nd, 2004:
This was around the time when Lee Ann performed at the 2004 CMA Music Festival ('Fan Fair'), and she looked great in her green outfit with blue-jeans. For the background, I wanted a somewhat South-western look with the blueish-green. I did the 'Lee Ann pic of the week' feature too. ''I May Hate Myself In The Morning'' (the original title was actually ''I'm Gonna Love You Tonight'') was announced as the next single.

Version 4.0- October 17th, 2004:
I remember when I was the first person to type up the lyrics for ''...Morning'', and not too long after that, saw them on tons of other sites, I thought that was cool, but wish I got credit lol. The layout was my favorite at the time because I really improved my way of doing things then, graphic-wise (newer painting program! ;)). The pic used was one of the new pics from the Greatest Hits photo-shoot.

Version 5.0- December 2nd, 2004:
This one was not too different than the last one: the banner and the background were Christmas-ized with two beautiful newer album photo-shoot pics. My site had actually reached way over its bandwidth limit and whenever it was accessed, my site would not show up and I had to wait another month for it to start over. I didn't know what to do at all about that.

Version 6.0- January 14th, 2005:
Once I made caps of the incredible ''...Morning'' video, I had to put them on the next banner. They were not the best quality caps at first, but eventually I made some new caps from a better quality video, and replaced the old banner with those (as you can see in the above pic). I included quotes from Lee Ann about the new song on there as well. I loved this one a lot.

Version 7.0- March 20th, 2005:
This one by far was my most favorite...the There's More Where That Came From album pic is incredibly beautiful and classic. I wanted a very cool look for this one, and I loved the font I used for it too. Lee Ann was touring then, and I looked up ticket links to post on the tour page, which took a long time, so I hope people actually used the links to buy tix! :)

Version 8.0- June 26th, 2005:
''He Oughta Know That By Now'' was the current single here, so I wanted to make a retro layout with this great pic of LAW. I rotated the pic of her with her head resting in her arms and did some editing, and using the TMWTCF font.

Version 9.0- November 11th, 2005:
Once I took my own screen caps of the ''Twenty Years...'' video, I quickly made a banner for the site. It's gotta be the most colorful banner so far, and it's gotta be my most favorite layout so far. I do like the background a lot too.
Version 10.0- ?
What do I have in mind for the next layout?.... come back and find out! :o
