Hello Fans, Family, and Friends alike...
In me you have just your ordinary housewife who just happens to be a writer of romantic fiction as well. I am 36 years young, with a relatively large family. Two natural Children and three step-children, though I love them all as if I were the one to have given birth to them. I never went to college, and I have lead an interesting life. My family was in the United States Air Force, which kept us on the move a lot. Consequently, my schooling in English suffered because of it. All in all it has been a struggle to get this far in my writing. I started writing when I was around 16 years old, using it as an outlet for my tremendous crippling shyness. On the pages of my stories, I was outgoing and never painfully shy. A public speaker I have never been, and more than likely never will be, however, my shyness has gone by the wayside, making it easier to be a people person now, which may come in handy eventually when I am needed to appear at book signings and such.
I am currently married to a wonderful man we just past out 5th anniversary on in August, he certainly is a jewel among men. His patience is something I will forever be grateful for. I am his third wife, he is my second husband...some say the third times the charm...I tell them I wouldn't know, he's only my second. He has helped me through getting this book written and submitted to countless people, both publishers and agents. The cost of which turned into far more than I anticipated.
I never thought I would ever try to get published, until I started writing Ravenwood: Night's Salvation. I had thought I should keep it under wraps, not thinking someone else might like it too. But with a lot of encouragement from friends and family, I have a completed work now under submission to agents and publishers, waiting to see if it is indeed good enough to see the light of day on the shelves of bookstores.
