The Laurie Police Department is a full-service, 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week department.
We have a staff of six full-time officers and six officers in reserve for special events or handling unusual situations. Our department has little turnover with our officers averaging over 20 years each in experience. We have enforcement officers fully qualified and trained to handle almost any situation.
All law enforcement agencies in the lake area work together and share intelligence to benefit our citizens.
As all our personnel live and work in the area, we have a natural desire to provide the best service possible to keep Laurie one of the world's best places to live.
