So what's this all about?

I thoroughly enjoy having a walk with my two dogs, and I also enjoy humour too (which is obvious... otherwise this site wouldn't exist).

One day just out of sheer boredom I decided to use the camera on my mobile phone in order to video our walk... and then decided to add some jokes.

I then uploaded it onto 'youtube', and thought: "Hang on... I could be onto something here!"

Having read up on the therapeutic effects of humour, and also on the benefits of exercise, I reckon that combining the two into a 'comedy ramble' might not be a bad thing... so I did a few of these!

At this point in time, it's just me, my two doggies Rosie and Gina and the camera... but hopefully I'd like to develop this into a 'group activity' in time... so watch this space.

First up - my success in failing to get on 'Britain's Got Talent'

Just me then - take a look at this sorry tale!

Bearnard Manning?

Yep - Bearnard Manning... named after the late great Bernard Manning - this is his 'teddy bear' namesake - with an impersonation done by yours truly.

Just a bit of nonsense from me... also, I did a similar 'puppet show' vid, again with a 'Bernard' impersonation for my spoof: "Harry Potter & The Order Off Of The Phoenix" which just has to be better than the real version, as it contains stuff about pizzas and wrestling and features a monkey!

Ken Dogg!

Another VERY poor impersonation by me - this time it's of the excellent Ken Dodd - now in his 80th year and still doing his stand-up! For anyone who doesn't know who Ken Dodd is - I prescribe a quick trip to 'Google' to remedy that!

Comedy Ramble No. 1.

The first one that I did 'proper'.

This is filmed at Rivington in Northwest England.

Unfortunately (or fortunately... depends on your viewpoint) the last joke gets cut before I finish saying it (bad editing on my part)... so here it is for those who really want to know... to 'get it' though, you will have to watch the video - I'm not telling it all in full again!

The upshot of the 'lion joke' - he says it to an elephant... "Who's the king of the jungle?" and the elephant launches him... the lion comes back and says: "no need to be like that just 'cause you don't know the answer!!!"
