No, my dear visitors, I have not died. Seriously.

I just had a bad case of:

  1. Writer's Block (no one's sending me any ideas! My brain has turned into mushroom paste)
  2. A lost password (can happen to anyone)
  3. Absense of internet connection at home
  4. Summer reading assignment for school (A Yellow Raft in Blue Water, An American Childhood, Fast Food Nation)

I'm so sorry! SORRY! I can't believe I've let my life catch up to my literary obligations! I feel so freaking guilty now! I do have Chapters 9-11 printed on some sort of recycled paper, but I lost them and found them again (nightstand, FYI), and now I have to type EVERY SINGLE LETTER/WORD/PARAGRAPH ALL OVER AGAIN! I'm sure that I'll get Carpal Tunnel Syndrome by the time I'm finished. I did have Chapter 22 on my computer, but the computer had another of its biannual smackdowns, and that was before I had a USB flash drive. My story went POOF! Yowch.

For all those who I have disappointed with my incompetence, I vow (puts hand over heart, attracting stares at the library) that I will get After the Firebird done. Sometime. Not tomorrow, mind you.

Another new update is the fact that I have changed my email address to sweetblood13@gmail.com. It's my main email, but you may still send messages to laterose_ii@yahoo.com. My AOL account may be in jeopardy, so I don't advise sending messages to vald9mar@aol.com, okay? So from now on use the Yahoo! (laterose_ii) and Gmail (sweetblood13) accounts. Thanks.

The Bird of Fire once flew free

And took with it many a family:

Young foxes, voles, mice and others

Were left with no siblings, no fathers, no mothers.

                      

These poor creatures went to Redwall,

Where they were adopted by all.

Here in this Abbey they worked for their living,

Helping the others, being kindly and giving.

 

Then the Hunter followed the Firebird’s track.

Beware, Mossflower, the danger is back!

Redwall Abbey, the survivors must go,

Where they’ll end up, nobeast does now.

 

A fight for the future is now underway.

They’re the Firebird Fighters, and this is their story.

Revenge for their loved ones comes out of the gray.

Fight and bask in a warrior’s glory.

 

 

 

Welcome

Hi, and welcome to my site, After the Firebird. After the Firebird  is a fan fiction that I have written about a book series by Brian Jacques, called "Redwall". If you're new to the name, look it up on the Wiki.

After the Firebird follows two or more plots, so you can see what each side (good or bad) is doing. I'm trying my chapters as soon as I can, but I have to keep track of other stuff. Like school. 

I also post fan fictions by est to watch my language, so the vermin (the bad side) can't have too-intense lingo. Unfortunately. I'm also trying to keep the grammatical and spelling errors to a minimum.

I post new friends (like the one by "Laterose Voh") for the heck of it, so if you have a fan fiction that YOU wrote (NOT another person's work), I'll be happy to post it.

Let's see, what else? Oh, yeah! I have links on my Navigation Bar to my Guestbook. I also have a contact page and a rating/comment box (on the contact page). Feel free to email me with any complaints, questions, suggestions, or any random stuff.
