We are a relatively new establishment, based in thermal Rotorua in the Bay of Plenty of New Zealand. Our work is dedicated to the misunderstood and unwanted horses that cannot speak for themselves and would otherwise end up at the kill buyer. New horses are assessed, supplemented accordingly, rehabilitated, re-educated "horses for courses" and finally re-homed as. This website is dedicated to the horses that come to us for help.
Too many horses in this country are bred, and when they develop problems - usually due to bad handling and training techniques, are discarded without a thought. Some develop their glitches through being mistreated or are mistreated for conditions that they were born with.
Our objective is to take these horses and through the use of Equus - the unspoken language of the horse, communicate, understand and alleviate (if not erradicate) the problems that have cursed them almost to the kill buyer. Then find what they are comfortable at doing or what suits their type, disposition & conformation and educate them in that discipline as horses for courses.
