Lasgo are much more than faceless producers with a pretty vocalist. A trio of equal merits, they each bring a hefty contribution to the band. Peter Luts, the eldest of the three, is the studio wizard, crafting the beats and sounds that are at the core of the Lasgo experience. Dave McCullen contributes the lyrics and melodies in addition to working on the music with Peter. And then there is Evi Goffin, the centerpiece, the focal point, the iconic star. Dave and Peter, both of whom were DJ-ing on the Belgian scene for years before meeting at a local record store where Peter worked, their first project was Astroline, a very dance-based affair that was influenced by Peter's heroes including Tiesto, Ferry Corsten and Paul van Dyk ...
But they knew that their love of pure pop and 80's-style tunes would take them into new directions and as soon as they heard Evi singing on a track that their manager played, they realised she was the perfect voice for them. And as the album demonstrates, her rich vocals work equally well on the epic balladry of Cryâ as they do on the classic dance anthem Somethingâ. Already a smash hit in clubs and on the radio well before it was released in February 2002, Somethingâ went silver in a matter of weeks, becoming the biggest selling dance record of the year so far and remaining in the Airplay Top 50 for a mind-frazzling 28 weeks! Further success has come their way with the second single Aloneâ which has been a smash around the planet, and the debut album Some Thingsâ which took five months to record in between playing out sell-out gigs to adoring fans throughout the world.

Evi Goffin - Who is she?
From Belgian to the World! Evi Goffin (or just Evy) likes that was born to sing! Like herself likes to say, she sings since she "knows herself by people", allways trying to sing better and have a almost perfect voice (and she really has a perfect voice today!). Evi started singing when she was child, but she started singing professionally when she was seventeen, singing on bars and karaoke parties. Someday she knew Stefan Wuyts, A&S manager. She sent to him one demo tape, he liked her job and invited her to do a test at A&S! Evi started on A&S singing on Milk Inc. She stood at Milk Inc for a few years, then she left Milk Inc and created some solo projects with Fiocco and 2Fabiola, using the codename "Medusa" (see this music's names on the table below). She just use her owner name in the music "Turn you On". Now Evi sings at Lasgo, band formed by Evi, Peter Luts and Dave MCcullen. Lasgo was the larger project that Evi worked so far. In Lasgo, a lot of people on the whole world knew Evi, because Lasgo brought to them (Evi, Peter and Dave) a lot of fans arround the world!

Lasgo is a brandnew dance act which has their first hit in Belgium with their debut-single something right now. (July 2001) Something has been in the belgian CD Singles TOP10 for seven weeks now (August 2001) with a highest place at nr 5. The very first appearance was on the holiday party one of the biggest school's out parites in belgium.and TMF (The Belgian clip station) recorded the show to produce a video clip. in spain where the track was released simultaneously, results were great; the single was even the best selling vinyl at the distributor the week it was released! The act itself consists of Peter Luts (Producer, Keyboard player), David Vervoort (Producer, Keyboard player, singer) and Evi Goffin (frontwoman, singer)
Evi Goffin, Peter Luts and David Vervoort Evi Goffin (aka Evy) was born on 27 febuary 1981 and she's from antwerp you may already know her as medusa together with fiocco they had a big hit with the single miss you and new years day with 2 fabiola. (A trance covers of the U2 classic) Peter Luts has been producing for A&S Productions for over 5 years now and is the musical force behind Astroline. He has also done remixes for Milk Inc which are in our personal opinion much better then the Milk Inc. radio edits David Vervoort (aka Dave McCullen) is a singer-producer-performer who has been DJ-ing for over 7 years and during that period he was guest in clubs in Belgium and beyond. He is, together with Peter Luts, the musical force behind Lasgo. The debut single something was first signed with Elektrola (germany) and Positiva (uk) and then it went out all over europe)and the world in 2002, for the international release a videoclip was shot in Prague! On November 2nd, 2001 their second single Alone was released on single in Belgium! This single was taken from Lasgo's first full album called Some Things which was released on November 19th, 2001! The third Lasgo single Pray was released almost a year later: in October 2002. At around the same time Some Things was also released in the United States. In November 2002 Lasgo won the Smash Hits award for best Dance act of the year 2002 in the UK! Ian Van Dahl was also nominated in the same category. Smash Hits is a big UK Pop magazine. December 2002 marked the release of the 2nd version of Some Things in Belgium: it featured 3 new songs: Searching, You and I Wonder; and also the best remixes of their hits. In March 2003 Lasgo visited Brazil for the first time. The tour started in São Paulo and the songs Pray, I Wonder, Searching, Alone and offcourse something made the crowd jump and dance all night long. The fourth Lasgo single: Surrender was released on vinyl in October 2003. It's the first single from the forthcoming full album! Surrender has been released on CD single in January 2004.
