The 2010 Premier Power Larne Half Marathon will take place on Saturday the 20th of March at
Relay
The ever popular relay event will again be included this year. The relay consists of three legs of approximately 5 miles, 3 miles and 5 miles. All relay teams will be expected to provide their own transport to and from both relay changeover points which are at Ballygally car park.
Walk
The walk will cover the full half marathon distance over the same course as the runners. Please note that the walk will start at
Course
The 13.1 mile course takes in a scenic coastal route starting at the Leisure Centre, Tower Road and including Curran Road, Glenarm Road, Coast Road to Ballygally, up Cairncastle Road, left turn onto Croft Road, right turn onto Ballymullock Road, left turn onto Brustin Brae Road, right turn at Cairncastle and down Cairncastle Road to Ballygally returning to Larne along the Coast Road and finally along the promenade to the finish at Larne Leisure Centre. Pre-Entry (on-line) Online entries for this years event will be opening soon. Entries will be taken on the day provided the entry limit has not been reached however we would like to encourage everyone to pre-enter online to avoid disappointment.
