Other than all the mentioned above, around the park there will be lots of other activities going on to keep you occupied during the day including; car boot, bouncy castle, ability testing ball games, tombola stall, children’s rides, inflatable slide, prize draw, cake stall, ‘throw the wellie’, visit the South West Safer Neighbourhood Teams in their police ‘pod’, charity stalls, face painting by Shirley Osbourne, raffle, ‘Beat the Goalie’ and much more.

Throughout the day our on site caterers 'Lipsmakers' will be serving snacks like burgers, hot dogs etc however if you fancy something different 'MT Bellies'  serve up a variety of Caribbean delights, also ice-cream from Roberto's Ices, refreshing drinks/smoothies from the Juice Bar and of course there is also every fete's favourite candy floss!

A bit about last year's event:-

As usual a very good event, although it rained most of the day the loyal people of Chantry came down wearing wellies, rain macs and still had fun, sheltering under the trees until the sun came out again!  The new attractions went down very well, especially the hov pods rides which were actually improved by the wet weather the rides with Billy and Jack were very popular also.  We would like to thank everyone for making the day a continued success!  And if you were there we hope you had a great time - perhaps you would like to write a message in our guest book.

If you would like to book a car boot space (£5), help out on the day or discuss this event further please contact us on lark.in.the.park@ntlworld.com or leave a message for us at the CRA Community Shop on 01473 683680 – any donations for the Tombola, raffle etc can also be dropped in to our community shop on Lavender Hill and would be greatly appreciated, (good condition children’s games/toys, in date tinned/packet food, soft drinks, etc)

The emphasis of the day is for the community to come and have fun we do not necessarily make a lot of money at this event, although any money that is made goes back into the community via the running of our community shop or holding community events throughout the year like children's parties (eg Christmas, Easter, Halloween etc), or organising coach trips.

Have you been to one of our previous Lark in the park events? If so leave us a message on our guestbook page of how you enjoyed the day, what was your best part or what we could do to improve the event to make it even better!
