LANDSONS SPLASH OF COLOUR PAINT HORSE STUD
is Owned & Managed by Gaye-ann & Keith Robson.
 
In 2004, the Stud relocated to S.E. Qld from Far Nth Qld, to enable our Ability to Promote and Compete with their resident Stallion, Tunza Loot in the 'Heart of Horse Country' against some of Australia's Finest Halter & Performance horses in Australia.
 
Tunza Loot has Proven himself to be An Extremely Versatile Stallion who has Easily become Successful as a Top Halter & Performance Horse.  We now boast he is an Australian PHAA Champion for Halter & Western Performance!
 
Our is to produce Quality Well Balanced horses with Fantastic Temperaments that have the ability for their pending owners to either Halter or Ride - Colour is not an issue with us - Type & Temperament Is!  Colour is a bonus! 
A Good Horse is Never A bad colour.
 
Over the years we have Bred many Pretty, Talented and Sensible Paint horses who have gone on and become Outstanding Halter & Versatile Performance Horses, Competeing in Rodeo (Barrel Racing/Sporting), Cutting, Campdrafting, Dressage, Western Pleasure, Trail, Western Horsemanship, Hunter Under Saddle, Polo Cross & General Riding Horses for All types of riders.
 
One of our proudly bred foals is the 2004/2005 & 2005/2006 PHAA Honour Roll High Point Champion 2000 Gelding of Australia - LANDSONS COTTON EYE JOE - who is also a very Successful Western Performance horse who is Thoroughly Enjoyed by his youth owner.  And another PHAA Honour Roll No 2 High Point Halter Champion is the Outstanding 1998 mare TWO BEARS INTEGRITY.
 
We have a FANTASTIC selection of  broodmares of which have been bred by Tunza Loot and anxiously await the arrival of the foals each season.  We believe the resulting foals from these particular bloodlines are Future Champions in the making... and if we are lucky (and most are) a 'Splash Of Colour' on them as a Bonus!
 
We are located in the picturesque area of Woodford - about 25 minutes west of Caboolture - which is Nth of Brisbane in SE QLD.  We are fortunate to live 15km's from Brian Smith Equine Services at Wamuran, Qld - who is an excellent Equine Reproductive Technician and who we hold very high regard for.  All of our semen collection/transport is done through Brian and his team.
 
We have downsized our stud (which in Nth Qld produced up to 12 foals a year) to suit our current location (now we are down to 4 or 5 foals a year), however endeavour to expand back to producing more foals in the future.
 
For now this will give us plenty of time rearing & preparing the quality foals we have bred, that will become available for sale. 
 
Visitors are welcome, however appointment is a must to ensure we are available.
