The capingsite is placed in the community of Trois-Point, not far from the small village Basse-Bodeux, halfway the wellknown cities of Liege and Bastogne. The site is at a relitive high altitude (op 470 tot 490 m.) on top of a mound and is easy to reach by two main highways, theE25, Liege-Luxemburg, and the E42, Liege-St.Vith. Because of these highways the campingsite is easy to reach out of Flanders, The Netherlands, Germany, Luxemburg and France. And therefore our campingsite is ideal for shortvisiting also.
The campingsite meanly existes out of several places for caravans, both touring and trailersize. Further there is a small area suitable for tents and touringcaravans who like to stay for a short period of time. We are the whole year open. But unfortunatly we have to shut down the watersupply from october first till april first, because of the cold wheater! In all times you can use the facilities under the main house.
There are in total 150 places for caravans, of which 20 are availible for people who are passing-by. These places vary from, 100m2 tot 300m2. The bigger places are availible for trailers and the smaller ones are for touring-caravans.
We also have two trailers for rental, for 6 persons, in which one of them dogs are allowed. The trailers have two bedrooms, one with double bed and one with two small beds. It is also possible to make another bed from the dinningtable in the livingarea. In the bathroom you can find a toilet, a shower and a handbasin. In the nearby future we hope to have more rentaltrailers. On the terrain we have two hygienic-facilities, under the mainhouse and near the passing-by-site. At the moment the facilities under the main house is being renovated, the prognosis is that this will be ready amidst 2004. The second facility we hope to have ready amidst 2005. Further we have a playground for the children, renovated in 2001. We plan to renovate the playhouse, but we also need the time. Also we have a small café with a terras. In highseason the café is open from 10 till 24 o’clock and in lowseason only in the weekends, friday from 17 o’clock and saturday and sunday from 10 o’clock. Closingtime may vary. The direct surrounding area of the campingsite is very touristic. Here is a short list of some thing you could do in the area (radius of 30 km):

In the café you can always ask for more information. We still have work to do at our terrain. We have finished some of the work, but we aren’t finished yet! This is what we are planning to do the next 5-10 years: New hygienic facilities New sewerage Renewed playhose for the children Renewed café Continueing with renewing the terrain We are the family Bos-Ravesloot: Reinier & Adri and daughter Mariska. In october 2000 we have bought the campingsite L'Ancienne Barriere. The terrain and the mainhouse were in desperate need of renewing, but that didn’t stop us from forfilling our dream. We have set up a plan to renovate the campingsite and we are in the progress of making things beautifull again. We are at schedual, but we aren’t finished by a long shot. Luckely we got help in 2001, in the shape of Kurt, since recently the husband of Mariska. Many hands make light work, as we say, and that is true. To save money we try to do as much as possible ourselfs, but we know when we must ask for proffesionel help. At this moment a company is working on our hygienic facility under the mainhouse, the old facility was still good, but a little bit outdated. We hope things will be ready amidst 2004. Also the terrainis under constant renovation, but this will return every year. Cuttingdown trees, renewing some of the trailer and so on. In short, there is much to do, but we love doing it.
