News

This year Lance is ready to start winning some features and bringing home some trophies. Lance put on a new look for 2007 and is ready to be up front! This year Lance will have T-shirts for sale $20 a piece, just visit the trailer in the pits at the races if you were wanting one.

Coming up in 2006 Lance has bought a new car and he's ready to Git-R-Done.  He got a new motor that will hopefully stay together and wont overheat like in 2005.  Lance is going to be running in various series.  He will be running in the Usse series(United Street Stock Experience), Ump Series, and the Valvoline Cup, So hopefully we can come out on top in at least one of these series

Well in the 2005 season it started pretty well for the 8J team, we were getting a lot of top five finishes.  The Johnson racing team got up to 4th in points at Farmercity and 3rd at Lincoln, but about half way through the season Lance started to have some bad luck.  It was motor problems. They were having a lot of problem with keeping the car at opporating temperature. From there on it seemed they had bad luck for the rest of the year.

Lance Johnson started racing at age 10. He started off racing a 1998 Buller racing go-kart. He raced it for 3 years and decided to move up to stock cars. In 2002 he was racing a 1991 Pontiac Grand Am in the 4-cylinder hornet division. Half way through the year he rolled the Pontiac and got a Honda Prelude and finished the year off with it. In 2003 Lance got a Ford Probe and won many heat race's but no features.  He ended up getting a second place championship finish at Charleston Speedway.  In 2004 he decided to move up to the Street Stock division. Lance won only 1 semi-feature and finished 17th and 18th in points at his local tracks, Farmercity speedway and Lincoln speedway. Now in 2005 he's starting to work on it and starting to finish it up for the upcoming 2005 season. Hope to see you at the race's
