HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVE!!!

the man of the hour turns 28. who thinks he looks younger? (raises hand)

Plain White T's were nominated for VMA Monster Single of the Year, wasn't that exciting? Was I the only one who was mad that there were only 2 shots of the T's on the pre-show and 0 during the show AND that rihanna snatched up their award? BOO.  BUT... lucky for us, Perez Hilton talked to Dave and Tom on his show, What Perez Sez. I'm going to try my best to find a video clip of that and post it on the video section.

Well, if you have been catching up with the t's schedule...dave got back from the UK tour a few weeks ago and is on the move with the WalMart tour which starts on the 20th. So, if you're in the CA-NV-AZ area, go check them out with Boys Like Girls.

after that tour..it's time for the Fall Out Boy tour featuring Gym Class Heroes, Plain White T's, and Cute is What We Aim For. tickets will go out fast.

TOMORROW afternoon. WATCH TRL on MTV, PWTS will make a guest appearance. YAY!

finally after months of wanting an interview, it is finally here. I had a lot of fun hanging out in the back and doing the interview. THANK YOU CRAIG! for keeping my sister and me company. I don't think we could have had a better time without you there.

So basically, my day started out with getting lost and trying to find the loading ramp. Good thing there was this really nice man who showed me the way. Then Craig met up with me at the ramp and I headed down to the interview room. Since the T's were doing a photoshoot, I had to wait there for a little while. Then Dave showed up with Mike and we talked for a bit.  After that, the interview started and now I proudly present our two wonderful videos.

It's so crazy how big Plain White T's are getting. They deserve it. They put on a great show and got the whole crowd cheering like crazy. Also, did you guys know that Plain White T's have the NUMBER ONE song in the NATION? Congrats, guys.

but before i go..

i decided as a special treat(well actually a dare from a worthy opponent), i'd show you all a pastel chalk drawing of a famous person i had to do for my visual arts class. enjoy!

so, i just finished talking to Sharrin, PWT's publicist, and she informed me about the new TV show that the T's will be performing and acting in. (SQUEALS!) The TV show is called GREEK and it airs July 9.

LOS ANGELES, CA – Hollywood recording artists Plain White T’s will make several guest appearances on the new ABC Family series, Greek (www.virtualrush.com). The show, which premieres in July, focuses on collegiate life and the social minefield that is the Greek system. The Chicago-based T’s (vocalist Tom Higgenson, guitarists Dave Tirio and Tim Lopez, bassist Mike Retondo and drummer De’Mar Hamilton) will make appearances playing themselves both in speaking roles and performing as The Plain White T’s.

Television viewers can also watch the T’s on the June 8^th episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, when they’ll perform hit single “Hey There Delilah”.

The T’s, who have been on the road in support of Hollywood debut EVERY SECOND COUNTS, are currently finishing up their first-ever headlining tour and have been added to the star-studded lineup performing at the May 19^th KROQ’s Weenie Roast.

wow. i haven't posted here in a while.

well, i've been trying hard to get that interview. i will try harder.

the t's finished their headlining tour... but stopped by california playing with ronnie day, takota, and the color turning.

dave has been doing good. while playing at the show in pomona, he cut himself and his fingers started bleeding. :( it was a sad sight to see ,but he was fine. he played through the songs like the pro he is.

dave is going to be in Hawaii this weekend and will be doing the six flags tour. i'll get in touch with him at the blue october concert. till then..(unless i have some updates)

The Knitting Factory has a lot of restrictions on cameras and video cameras, so I emailed the guy in charge to issue me a photo pass. Well, he never got back to me...which means the interview will not occur this month. :( BOO.

I'm sad. I was looking very forward to it. I guess we'll just wait until Dave comes back from the Europe tour.

Maybe lanah can get some hook-ups at the Chicago show. :D

this site was made in honor of dave. no, he doesn't look like a lion like lanah said, but i named my stuff animal (which is a lion) after him. he's soft and cuddly. dave does give nice hugs. haha. well anyways...here's a little history about dave:

Dave tirio is the lead guitarist of Plain White T's. He's one of the co-founders, along with Tom, of this band that formed in 1997. There have been some line-up changes since then. The band now consists of Dave, Tom, De'mar, Mike, and Tim. well, that was brief. hahaha.

from mine and lanah's experiences, dave is pretty much one of the coolest guys you'll ever meet. and he's SINGLE, well as of now. ;)
