Uncle Tom's Cabin-
This may be my all-time favorite audiobook. The reader, Buck Schirner, does an incredible job with the voices, even perfoming the accents convincingly. Uncle Tom's Cabin is a worthwhile book for every believer's bookshelf, and Mr. Schirner removes the difficulty of reading aloud what would be a difficult book. Uncle Tom's Cabin is the tale of how Uncle Tom and those around him deal with the issue of slavery. Uncle Tom is an honorable, Godly example who always tries to do what the Bible tells him, no matter the price. There are many ups and downs in the story and a variety of characters from whom we can learn much.
"Published in 1852, Uncle Tom's Cabin brought the abolitionists' message to the public conscience - no woman before or since has so moved America to take action against an injustice. Indeed, Abraham Lincoln greeted Stowe in 1863 as "the little lady who made this big war." 20 hours, unabridged
Very Highly Recommended!
