Hi,
This is Andrea
We picked up our new puppy Murphy from you and your husband in Memphis.
I wanted to give you an update. Murphy is doing just GREAT! He graduated 1st in his puppy class (Cloe' is his tutor at home) Murphy has learned to walk on a loose lead and automatically sit when we stop. He has learned to sit, sit-stay, down, down-stay, leave it, to sit when someone approaches, to wave, to shake hands. As you can see he is very smart and the clicker training is a great method. He is very brave and is loving obedience classes. We started Level One class Saturday, he did very well and even to his first agility jump, wow this puppy is willing to try any thing! (our Instructor says he has a great temperament for therapy work too)
I often take Murphy and Cloe' to the salon so they can meet and greet new people. I don't know who enjoys it more the dogs or the customers. They are wonderful ambassadors for the breed!
He and Cloe have bonded and they just love each other. They play and chase each other (I'll send another e-mail with a pictures of them together, for some reason it won't attach to this e-mail)
Murphy has turned out to be Avery's buddy (he snuggle up and sleeps with her) He is very affectionate and cuddly, but on the other hand he loves to play! He is getting very good at fetch and squeaky balls are his favorite.
Murphy is developing a BEAUTIFUL coat, his tail is now curling over his back with lots of long hair. The hair on his ears is really coming in too. He is a very handsome papillon!
If Murphy is typical of the puppies Cappie is producing you have a real winner.
I can't say enough about the intelligence, temperament and beauty of this little dog. We just LOVE him to pieces.
Murphy is full of personality and will invent games (like if I take your remote, or shoe, or address book or ...what will you trade me?... maybe cheese?) Like I said he's very smart!
