Spring Break at Seaside, in the Destin, Florida Coastline 4.01.2009 to 4.07.09

Wonderful new places, artists, resorts and news to post ...

You should see all the fantastic things our team discovered this past week during Spring Break on the Emerald Coast of Florida that Ya'll need to check out for yourself! Samples of the amazing colorful photos I took at Seaside, Florida are available in the photo album page! Every first Friday of the month the galleries at Seaside have an Art Walk from 5pm to 8:30pm, to celebrate local and national artists. There is a variety of entertainment, great food and wine tasting. LakeWater Design Pottery by Barbara* is now available at the NEWBILL Collection BY THE SEA Gallery located in the Ruskin Place Artist Colony Park near the Seaside Chapel and north of the Central Square. The icecream at the Gelato Heavenly Shortbread Parlor is 'to die for' you must have a cup or a cone as you sit under the umbrellas or take a leasurely walk to the open'air shops on the beach. Performances show in the central amphetheater in the summer evenings Starting in April. A new Upscale Farmers Market will be starting soon on the lawns of the Central Square on Saturdays. Look for the schedule to be posted soon and monthly on our calendar and events page. Guess What the 'Next thing' is Now! People are twittering and Baby Boomers are joining www.BOOMj.com for social networking sponsored by www.LocalAdLink.com There was no shortage of Blackberry's texting on the beach and in the shops. ... All decked out with Bling under wide brimmed hats! What happened to leaving the phone at home! I even had to start learning text messaging in order to keep informed of what the See Magazine tourist publication was doing and reporting. They have new formats and lots of coupons to save money on your vacation. Look for the magazines at local convienience stores and most local shops on hwy 30A. We all had a good time and hope to go back very soon!

Followers have tripled since we started a little over 4 weeks ago! Networking with persons in your same work skills zones and finding clients is working out very well. Job searches seem to be rising and social networking is seamless when you can get your tweets on your phone or PDA. I was out of pocket from my computer and was able to keep in touch with my new Omnia cell phone PDA (love that thing!) through Verizon Wireless. I showed my Dad how to Twitter from his computer and his little LG phone. He is 80yrs old 'and he is a PC'! We have had so much fun with this site, I didn’t realize that it was also such a powerful work networking site! Thank you to the Guru's who have put this one together! My new key phrase is now "Guru's Plus" .... Enjoy!
