Finegold sweeps through Simul

            Michigan’s highest rated chess player, IM Ben Finegold, 2606, swept undefeated through a Simul at Petoskey Middle School on May 5. Finegold needed just under two hours to go 14-0 against a field of Northern Michigan chess players which included four U.P. residents. Finegold also provided a lecture prior to the Simul. The Simul was arranged by Josh Ferraiuolo of Petoskey.
