Lake Superior Chess Association | The source of chess in the U.P. of Michigan.

Hello everyone. Here is a small history of the Lake Superior Chess Association. The Lake Superior Chess Association is a United States Chess Federation affiliate and is a part of the Michigan Chess Association. All of the members are spread distantly throughout the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, but the main headquarters of the LSCA is in Newberry, MI.

By being established in the summer of 1971, this association is over 30 years old.
