We are looking for a part time (20 hours per week) Program Assistant in the Lake Stevens Family Center in planning and coordinating donations, tracking supplies, facility use and services for center sustainability, activities and events. The essential responsibilities of this position are as follows:

The successful candidate will have a High School or G.E.D. At least two years successfully working in office administration and customer service, fundraising, or sales experience preferred. Strong human relations and communications skills to work effectively with diverse team of staff, volunteers community members, and stakeholders. Experience with Windows applications (Excel, Access, Word, and Publisher).
The pay is $12.79 to $13.30 per hour, based on a 20 hour workweek. Vacation, sick and holiday leave are available.
Summer is quickly approaching and not too soon for many of us! There are, however, families that will not be able to vacation but will rather have a 'staycation.' These families will be seeking activities and events that they can attend in our community for little or no cost.

What is National Night Out?
It's America's Night Out Against Crime!
National Night Out (NNO), is a unique crime/drug prevention event held in downtown Lake Stevens, this year on August 5th from 5pm-8:30pm!
Last year's National Night Out celebration involved citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations and local officials from all over Snohomish County

Andrew Brandt with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans presented a check in the amount of $5000 to the Lake Stevens Family Center on Wednesday evening, March 6th.
This grant money has been awarded to the Lake Stevens Family Center to be used in the area of Basic Needs.
Thrivent will also match any additional donations to the Family Center $0.50 for every $1 donated until March 31st, and up to a total of $5,000.
