The tour gives community members the opportunity to visit schools while they are in session to see teaching and learning in action, meet school staff and learn more about the Lake Stevens School District.

This is the second community tour of the 2012-13 school year. In November, community members toured Highland Elementary School and Lake Stevens High School.
The Whitehorse Foundation will match dollar for dollar any community financial donations through June 30, 2013. If you were considering making a donation to LSFC, any dollar you contribute right now, will bring $2 to the Family Center.
This money will be used to provide basic and critical supports to local families in jeopardy of loosing their homes or facing devastating health crisis.

Andrew Brandt with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans presented a check in the amount of $5000 to the Lake Stevens Family Center on Wednesday evening, March 6th.
This grant money has been awarded to the Lake Stevens Family Center to be used in the area of Basic Needs.
Thrivent will also match any additional donations to the Family Center $0.50 for every $1 donated until March 31st, and up to a total of $5,000.
