FELLOWSHIP FESTIVAL 2004
was absolutely FANTASTIC, I can't hype it enough.
It was August 28-30th at Alexandra Palace and Fellowship Festival 2005 will be 27-29th August. I cannot urge you enough to go. (www.aaaevents.co.uk)
These are some of the pictures from the festival:
Day 1
This being my first convention I was a little nervous the first day, but it proved both memorable and enjoying;
|
The talented Gino Acevedo Transformed one person a day into a very ferocious looking orc! |
Craig Parker and Mark Ferguson (Gil-Galad), getting a little frisky, funniest duo I have ever seen in my life, and such lovely people. |
Lawrence Makaore- I asked him for a photo and he picked up a pair of Pippin's hobbit feet and proclaimed "hobbit gone wrong". I had the pleasure of sitting to dinner with him- Brilliant, charming, funny guy, God bless. |
Feast (Day 1)
|
Craig Parker (Haldir) And Myself At the feast. What an adorable man, friendly, chatty full of energy, polite (damn good looking)... so friendly, such an honor to have met him - if ever you get a chance to meet him, go , seriously. |
Mr. Makaore again- did i mention he was really really tall? (OK , im short, that's not the point.) He just grabbed me whilst my friend took a picture and started to dance- how brilliant did I feel!- a really bubbly guy, he played the Witchking, Gothmog and Lurtz, and did stunt demo's for us all. |
Bernard Hill (King Theoden) and Myself- His talks were hilarious, and he let loose on much that was filmed and may be on the extended versions which was most enjoyable, what a brilliant guy! |
Jed Brophy and Myself. Jed played Snaga and Sharku. He , along with Lawrence did stunt demo's and he wrote and performed a song at the feast- good singer too, and a very energetic person, a lovely guy to talk to. He said he will be in Jackson's new film- King Kong, and was telling me all about it. |
|
Alan Lee and myself. Alan is a very talented artist and came up with conceptual ideas for many aspects that we see in the film and has illustrated many Tolkien books- very down to earth and easy to talk to, and did free signings of his work! |
Sarah McLeod, aka Rosie Cotton...THE most stunningly naturally beautiful woman I have ever seen. She did hobbit dancing an sang "Into The West" at the feast. Very lovely to talk to, and i very much enjoyed meeting her, despite being so jealous of her absolutely breathtaking beauty and WOW figure, and a brilliant personality. Wow. Gotta Love her. |
