All future Key Club meetings will be held every Monday in Mr. Churchill's classroom L-19 at lunch please try to come weekly to get updated. Also if you are planning on going to Fall Rally all money is due on October 12. I would like to announce that Johnaheim Duong is our new project chair. He had agreed to the position and a motion was carried out on September 19th to make him the new project chair. OC Children's Book Festival Date: Saturday, September 29, 2007 & Sunday, September 30, 2007 Location: Orange Coast College 2701 Fairview Road Costa Mesa, CA 92628 Time: 9am Description: This is an annual event in which children of all ages come with their families to enjoy a day of fun and have a great learning experience. There will be face painting, clowns, musicians, readings, drawings, etc. For more information go here. Regional Training Conference Date: Saturday, October 13, 2007 Location: Orange Coast College 2701 Fairview Road Costa Mesa, CA 92628 Time: 11:30am-5pm Description: This will be a training conference open to all members in Region 13, which includes Divisions 4 East, 4 North, 4 West, 30 North, 30 South, 41 North, and 41 South. Lunch will be provided during registration, and there will also be ice breakers, informative workshops, and the great spirit rally at the end. You will have the opportunity to learn many new things about Key Club and meet new friends, especially the new members who will be joining Key Club when school starts. Don't miss out; it's highly recommended for all current officers and members to attend! CHOC Walk Date: Sunday, October 21, 2007 Location: Disneyland Resort Time: 7am Description: This is an annual event that supports the Children's Hospital of Orange County. It's a very fun and exciting event; there will be thousands of people there and if you participate, you will be able to go to Disneyland/California Adventure after the walk for half price! Please go to www.kchoc.org to register under team "Kiwanis Family" which will include all Key Club groups. In order to register online, you must have some kind of credit card (ask parents, etc.) to pay $25. If you cannot use a credit card, but still want to participate, go to the website, download the sponsor form, and raise as much money as you can ( minimum of $25). Fall Rally South Date: Saturday, November 10, 2007 Location: Six Flags Magic Mountain Bus Ride Location: Bolsa Grande High School Time: TBA Admission Fee: $40 due on October 12 Sorry about not updating this website I have been busy with a lot of things but I will be able to update this site on a regular basis now. I will also have a new layout made once I finish my summer homework.
