Hello everyone! My name is Mary Westergard and I am part of Hemi Studio.
I have painted portraits of horses, other animals and even weddings and graduations. I quit painting when my husband passed away in 1996; giving all my art supplies to a local school art program. Now, remarriage, a move to a new state, and things have changed in my life. I enjoy taking a plastic horse - remolding, resculpting, and finally airbrushing with the smaller details in pastels. I am doing commission work for people and have given donations to help shows. I have no way to show my own horses, but they are certainly Live Show Quality, as they are winning for their new owners! Most of my equine art is sold on eBay. I will be taking a couple more custom orders, and if you are interested, please contact me at: maksmi@svtv.com. I have started a couple of resins, and photos will be provided as I finish them. My prices are 105.00 and up for basic coloring done with soft pastels/airbrush, 25.00 and up for prepping (depends on how much prepping needs to be done to the model) and 25.00 and up for pinto markings, Appaloosa, or brindle. My turn around time to complete a model is 2-4 weeks.
