Navigation

Some of you may remember my cousin, Tribal Goddess, and her creations. For quite a time- I'm truly not sure how long- she had been absent from the KT. Shortly before we were told that the OKT would be closing she gave me control of her creations, as she did not plan on returning.

If any one is interested in her creations, feel free to request, but I won't be handing them out as freely as some of my own.

Avians

Creature Name: Aluri Flights

General Description:
Aluri Flights are a near-mythical avian species known to inhabit the woodland regions of Goraddeia, only in recent decades becoming more abundant. They possess elemental magic(on a 300% scale) and, on the rare occasion, healing powers and live in flocks particular to their type. There are two flock breeds, known as Huritts; Gehra and Sqysjro. Canines

Creature Names: Isadoreths
'Wolves of Beloved Hearth'

General Description
Believed to be the direct descendants of the Hycoranian Alchemists protégés, the Isadoreths are mystical canine beings of unimaginable powers. Known only to be of three varieties, their abilities stand thusly;

-Ethrlyre ‘evdhd: Smoke white and nimble, these agile Isadoreths are the keepers of wind and psi. Though all Isadoreths have the common telepathy, telekinesis, teleportation, and empathy, the Ethrlyre are the only to possess the ability to control minds at will and impose their emotions on others, though they seldom do.
-Shyiar ‘evdhd: Their silken coats come either in a black, or gold toned blonde. They are all powerful in the realms of fire and earth. Yet among these are also the abilities to manipulate dreams, and transform any form of matter into anything they wish.
-Bitholar ‘evdhd: The manipulators of metal, the sovereign warriors, and the most majestically beautiful. The Bitholar are the sable cubs of the Dark Hearth. In addition to their previously noted powers, is the complete dominance of all forces of water.

Draconics

Creature Name: Aeoparabians

General Description:
Lumina, First-light, Half-light, Twilight, and Pitch are the five hosts of the Aeoparabian Court. Among the hosts live both man and dragon alike, interacting in mutual benefit. Every so often a human of one host may part to join a different host, giving this new host’s people the knowledge s/he holds.
The knowledge of the hosts is vital to the preservation of the Court, their numbers scattered to the seven winds after plague and sub terrestrial massacre claimed many lives. It was after the deaths that dragon and mankind joined forces to preserve their species and knowledge. All dragons have the same features, making any two appear quite the same at night, though the colors of their feathered wings differ. Their magical knowledge and physical differences stand thusly;

Creature Name: Alkahrnian Desert-Blooms
'Floral Dragons'

General Description:
Only recently discovered by the settlers of Alkahrnia, much is yet unknown about these buds. What has been observed is that from the bulbs of certain flowers that seem to thrive in the deserts of Alkahrnia a single bud will form from each bulb, slowly developing until it blooms, hatching a small draconic creature baring the same colorations and markings of the flower. After the hatching of the dragon the flower withers and fades within minutes yet the dragon has the ability to transform into the flower from which it hatched. Given the origins and shape-shifting abilities of these dragons any and all are genderless, rendering breeding relatively uncommon. For pollination to occur at least one dragon must be in the form of its flower while one dragon, in draconic form, flies overhead, releasing the pollen to stick to the stigma of the floral dragons. The pollinated dragons must then retain their draconic forms for the length of four months and may only change into their floral form once they have lain their bulbs. The bulbs require no nutrients to develop nor need they be planted. It has in fact been observed that the dragon will have great difficulty hatching if their blossom is not above ground, usually resulting in the dragon’s immediate death. The average lifespan of an Alkahrnian Desert-Bloom is seventy-two solar years if unbonded.

While the varieties of colorations and markings mirror those of their Earthly counterparts, below are the as yet known  floral forms from which they breed;
-Roses
-Lilies
-Hibiscuses
-Tulips
-Poppies
-Irises

Creature Name: Alkahrnian Sun-Dancers

General Description:
The latest discovery of the original- and only- settlers of Alkahrnia is a draconic race with characteristics and breeding habits nearly identical to those of the Alkahrnian Desert-Blooms, or Floral Dragons. This particular race is generally accepted to be the larger cousins of the Floral Dragons, their fully-grown forms being that of flowering and fruit-bearing trees and are found in most any habitable environment. Development and birth are quite similar to that of the Floral Dragons; maturing in the forms of seeds lain by the maternal Sun-Dancer and slowly sprouting into small saplings that have, by that time, the ability to morph into their draconic forms. They have delightful fragrances with soothing qualities that, when inhaled, are said to melt stress away. Excessive consumption of their fumes can however become addictive and in some cases result in hysteria. Their colorations tend to mirror those of either the blossoms or fruit that their terrestrial forms bear while they may also be shades of brown and/or green with markings similar to the blossoms or fruits.

The as yet known varieties of the Alkahrian Sun-Dancers are as follows;
-Orange
-Lemon
-Cherry
-Vanilla
-Apple
-Pear
-Peach
-Plum
-Mulberry

Creature Name: Caeddrhy Dragons

General Description:
This particular draconic species is of many variants, each differing greatly from the other and possessing their own individual skill. Caeddrhy Dragons are known more commonly to be nocturnal, though it is not uncommon for any to be out and about in broad daylight.

Faeddhe- Faeddhes are among the most common and most appealing. They are long and sinewy with tendril appearing prongs adorning their jaws and oddly short wings. Their hides are various degrees of orange or gold. Faeddhes stand prominent with mastery in bartering of goods as well as information.

Dyth- The largest of the Caeddrhy Dragons, Dyths are well muscled to the point of stockiness. They are friends of smiths and with barrel-chests, rendering manual forges as a crude mechanism. Dyths’ scales come in an array of bronze and copper and on the odd hatchling, a smattering of white.

Brionne- Brionne are the Queens of the Caeddhry, their elegant forms dazzling in violet or silver. Their wings have an additional membrane with frills and tendrils skating out from the ends. They are lyrical geniuses and brilliantly wordy. Their rarity is staggering; however they are revered beyond any fleeting thought of egg snatching.

Mahkkir- The Mahkkir are the healers and wanderers of their kind. Given their partiality to traveling, their wings are long and sail-like enough to accommodate this need. Their pearlescent hides gleam brightly in shades of forest green or sand.

Pelovettt- These historians and philosophers are the master-minds of Caeddhry draconic society. They are minimal in length though carry their torsos on long limbs. Their tails reach to nearly double their length, a spike similar to a scythe blade grown from the very end. Pelovettts’ scales are most commonly red or deep indigo, every now and then a pale blue.

Dellrhudorawyn- Dellrhudorawyn means the ‘Hallowed Daughters’ in the native tongue of Caeddrhy. Similar to the Brionne, they are always female, yet come solely in lavender, occasionally with sheens of other colors. They are rare beyond imagining, though in certain bloodlines, they might hatch in every other clutch or so.

Thyraswlhd- The Thyraswlhd are never female and the only males to ever fly the Dellrhudorawyn. Their name can be directly translated to ‘Sons of Kings’. Their colorations vary throughout the spectrums of yellow, gold, black, blue, and red.

Creature Name: Everland Dragons

General Description:
Everland Dragons hail from the multi-elemental realm of Goraddeia known as, quite clearly, the Everlands. Noted for their powerful grace and elegance, Everland Dragons are the Kings and Queens of the elements. Their sight envisions truth, this power aided by their remarkable empathy and telepathy. All seven, in addition to such and their individual fields of expertise, have the magics of their respective elements.

Light: Rarest of the species, these dragons are of a pale, gauzy white hide, almost ghost-like in appearance though undoubtedly of a subtle, glowing beauty. Their magic, in addition to light and a higher ability to perceive the truth, is an abundance of skill in healing. The rarity of the Everland Light Dragons is such that only one egg may be laid in every twenty seven clutches of a blood-line.

Earth: These particular Everland Dragons are of the highest intelligence amongst all draconic species of Goraddeia. Their hides vary in deep greens, the occasional silver tones noted. Second rarest, up to two eggs are laid for every thirteen clutches of a bloodline, though twins aren’t uncommon.

Fire: Strong, opinionated, and loyal companions, Fire Dragons are majestic instruments of war and law. Though given such, these creatures are surprisingly lithe and gentle-hearted to most. Dazzling the eye, their hides vary from golden-browns, to corals, and not uncommonly brighter reds. Last of the rare Everland Dragons, up to two eggs alone are known to be lain in any ten clutches, though like Earth, twins are not entirely uncommon.

Water: Everland Water Dragons are strikingly agile and quite appealing in both appearance and mind. Their love for riddles and questions is unmatched. Though their domain element is of water and its various resources, many Water Dragons are empowered with the magic of ice, frost, and snow. Their hide colorations range throughout the entire blue spectrum and at times are pale, oceanic greens.

Air: Lilac, lavender, pale pinks, and violets are the signature colors of these elusive dragons, both their minds and movements as swift as light. Air Dragons are seldom known for greed, though some will horde things precious to them; most commonly pearls, seeds, and metals.

Stone: Creatures of illusion and mystery, Everland Stone Dragons are cunning and stealthy. Their hides vary from greys, to browns, and even to blacks, sometimes toned in copper. Despite a first impression analysis, these dragons are of the most trust-worthy, with far-sightedness and sharp hearing, Stone Dragons are often taken to the hunt of bandits.

Chaos: Everland Chaos Dragons are the only of the seven susceptible to dark deeds. Yet despite their initial instinct, nearly all steer clear away from the lightless path. Their hides are of crimson, inky tones, and the deepest of glossy blacks. Chaos dragons are at times fighting inner battles, thus look to the strong-of-will to bond to.

Creature Name: Kilkerith Dragons

General Description:
Kilkerith Dragons have one of the most unusual hierarchies known to draconic kind. In every clutch, there are but three types of males- opal, sapphire, and bronze- who are considered Kings. All other Kilkerith dragons are female and may come in any coloration possible. Female opals, however, are known as the Princesses and are quite rare. If by chance a female hatches with the coloration of either sapphire or bronze, she is known as a sport Princess and will in most cases be barren. This is of course very uncommon. Of the clutch, all females must prove themselves 'worthy' of a King to be flown by him, resulting in many crossbreeds. Due to this odd natural selectivity, a pure Kilkerith Dragon clutch is quite rare. In addition, the Kings are often found giving chase to dragonesses of other species.

Originally Created by:
Falcon Muse (Dracodia & Vairek)

Creature Name: Satin Dragons

General Description:
Rumored to be the goddess Arle’s gift to her consort king Eriive, the Satin Dragons have always been revered as magical beings among their human counterparts on the planet, holding themselves aloof from the bipedal forms. Such was the divide between draconic and human, that it was well over a century before the dragons ever became aware of the complete elimination of the human race. The only contact to any human form that remained dwelled in the rare power of the few Satin Dragons who could shape-shift. That remained so until they stumbled on the magic of teleportation and began traveling off-planet.

Satin Dragons became enmeshed in the societies of other draconic races, those on their home planet dwelling in tribes consisting of varying species of dragons. With the contact with other species, came the fresh acquaintance with humanoid races.

Felines

Creature Name: Palmerian Tigers

General Description:
Palmerian Tigers are a rare race of felines. Growing to an average size equal to that of a full grown Pernese dragon, Palmers are still surprisingly gentle. They are regional due to coloration specifics and magical affiliation. Ice Palmers have two colorations; the females, which have silver-white coats traced in the typical pattern of black stripes. The males have a more subdued blue-grey coat, often found with silver markings around their face, and also bare black stripes. Ice Palmers can lay their paws flat on any surface- liquid, gas, or solid- and it will turn to a dazzling spectacle of ice. Though quite beautiful in form, this elemental keeper is hardly one to tamper with.

The Mountain Palmers, both male and female, are of the same coat coloration of earthy-brown and silver baring a few minor differences. The females coats give off a glint of golden flecks, and when come time to mate, their coats erupt in a golden aura. The males, are occasionally flecked a mute bronze, the silver more dominating. Both males and females, like the Ice Palmers, bare the network of black stripes. Mountain Palmers posses the power of earth and fire and hold the force to churn the worlds fires and set shake to the ground.

Last but certainly not least are the Oracle Palmers. The water loving felines are in direct linkage to the realm of spirit, wind, and the ocean itself. Their pearly coats give off a soft glow of pale greens and blues. Males and females are difficult to decipher from the other but for the fact that most females are a head or so larger than the average male. Oracle Palmers live most commonly in sea caves and on warm, secluded beaches. Their powers are put to common debate as to the extent of them. It is said that the Oracle Palmers are the very ones that call up the autumn winds near the eve of the annual festival. In addition to this wide-spread rumor, these particular Palmerian Tigers are also known to aid sailors and weathering folk alike, if such are to posses the markings of the Spirit Fae which Oracle Palmers are said to consort with. Both the Oracle Palmers and Spirit Fae are held in high regard and respect among the people of their lands.

General Description:
Terrigenus (Latin for born from the earth), and Cattus (Latin for cat), comprise their own description. As there were a good hundred and then some species of housecats at one point in time, the lessened variety has resulted in a higher rarity. Variations are as follows:

-Calicos; a typical splotching of caramel and black on a usually white coat.
-Clouded Calicos; much similar to the Calico but for the blurring of their coats.
-Tabbies; come in three colorations, your common brown, orange, and grey.
-Tortoise Shell; their coats depict the amber and brown patterns of a tortoise's shell. Some tortoise shells, however, are evenly marked atop white coats.
-Omnimodus; these felines have the coats of pure white, pure black, or pure blue-grey.
Each variation are susceptible to any length of coat, i.e. short, medium, or long.

Creature Name: Kaleidoscope Spirits
Thysileiya Clartiasharvatmera

General Description:
The Kaleidoscope spirits are shape shifting light beings of nearly unimaginable proportions. When in their natural form, taken only before bonding, they are like flickering candle flames, miniscule yet oozing personality. Once bonded they will take on one of the many forms listed below, yet may change their colors and slight variations at will.

Celestial Manifestations:

-Phoenix: Much like the mythological birds of flame, the main differentiation is their size. They are about 1.5 times the size of a firelizard and often their feathers will fade neatly to long, wispy fur. Colorations are commonly silver, coral on gold, and green or blue on black, though nothing is impossible.
-Draco: The common dragon yet smaller in size, the Draco Kaleidoscope companion reaches one foot in height at the shoulders, yet is up to three feet in length not including their four foot tail. Adorning their elegant wedge-shaped heads are three sets of horns, each long and willowy, and one set of small knob-like horns. Their wingspan reaches four meters in length and they surprisingly can carry a load up to seven times their body weight. Common colorations include grey-green, bronze, and crystal, yet nothing is out of the ordinary.
-Kerial: The Kerial are beings with the head and body of a cat, yet they are slick like a seal. They have silky wings, not quite draconic, though neither feathered. They are known mostly to stay a shade of brown-grey, pale orange or dusky lavender.
-Rith’lyon: When slumbering, the Rith’lyon(rith-lee-own) take the form of a coiled serpent of vivid colorations. Upon regaining consciousness, their form is that of a small lion wreathed in nearly invisible golden flame which is quite cool to the touch. Their defense mechanism is their lightning pronged mane.
-Para Vita: ‘Beside Life’ in Latin, the Para Vita are ominous creatures who secure the purity of Balance. Their forms are that of beauty, their appearance that of a flawless human yet the size of a child. Their silken hair glows eerily, much like the aura radiating from various feathers of the seven sets of wings. The Para Vita have the ability to grant entrance into the gates of Death and back again, often using their extreme powers to restore life.

Earthly Manifestations:

-The Kaleidoscope Spirits may take the form of any creature known to earth, taking on odd characteristics and even extreme elemental powers. The elemental magics warp their physical appearance only slightly so that they are better suited for their gifts.
