Firstly I must say sorry to my team as I didn't turn up last night as it was the 200th episode of C.S.I and i was recording the new Knightrider, and because the husband was watching the football I could only watch one or the other and tape one, so I stayed in and watched T.V but I will be out next week. SO SORRY, but this was more Important.
So onto the results of last night,
This is why we have such a strong league, as the results show.
The
Parrish's were hosting the
Western, and what a game, it went right to the last game, the winner's being the Parrish's
by 5 games to 4, not like them to start winning so early in the season, Did the Parrish's only have 5 players??? hahahahah ( private joke).
The Prince
of Wales were hosting Father
Ted's and once again it was a close game, the eventual winners being the Prince of Wales by 5 games to 4, another really good close game.
The Kensal
Club were hosting the newest team in the league the Mighty
Eagle who started their season off so well last week, but they couldn't keep up their run of luck as the Kensal took the final game, the result being 5 games to 4. HAVE TO MENTION that it was Ewina's birthday on Saturday and she had a fancy dress party and I have some excellent pictures of the girls from the Kensal, just waiting for the ok from Ed to say its ok to put them on, as the pictures of her boys are just brillant. Happy Birthday ED you looked great as princess Fiona, and himself didn't look too bad either as shrek.
The Derby
were hosting the Rugby
Club and you just knew it was going to be a close game, but not to be, the Rugby Club
bashed the Derby by 6 games to 3.
The first results of the new season are as follows~
The Rugby Club played were at home to the Western and the game went to the Rugby Club by 7 games to 2. There were 2 ladies celebrating their birthdays last night, age's to be added later, they are

The Kensal Club were playing Father Ted's and the game went to Ted's by 5 games to 4.
Welcome back to the Eagle
they started off their season with a great win over the Parrish's by 6 games to 3.
Last night was the benefit night for
Mrs
Casey
Firstly I would like to thank
the Maxilla Club for allowing us to hold the benefit in their club, they did us all proud, the dart boards were all set up and ready to play on, and they all bought raffle tickets and they all won!!!!!!.
Secondly I would like to thank
all the girls and fella's who turned up last night, Julie and Donna say thanks.
The donations for the raffle were amazing, I have never seen so many bottles of Vodka, scotch and scrumpy as there was last night, and I know that Liam and Mandy will be suffering from a hangover on sunday morning! hahahahahaha.
Third I would like to say thanks to Ellen
from Ted's, Liz from the Prince, Sue
and Nikki who bought raffle tickets even though they weren't able to make it, Liz your gonna love your prize
(hahahahah).
Thankyou to the girls from the
Western, the
Parrsh's, the Rugby
Club and the
Eagle and Mandy from the Prince of Wales.
On the night with all that turned up we managed to play knockout three's, one single(401), one pair(501) and if tied one triple(601).
The games started at 9 and we were finished by 11, a wonderful evening and the photo's are just tp prove what a great night.
The draw was as follows;
Linda, Bridie and Patsy played Carmel Ellen and Kayliegh,
Pauline, Bobby and Julie played Helen, Mandy and Doona,
Bridget, Bev and Maggie played Tina, Caroline and Vi,
Chris, Marlene and Kathy had a bye,
Maureen, Liz and Sue played Mim, Val and Dee.
The final was between,
Pauline Bobby and Julie against
Mim Val and Dee .
The winners were Pauline , Bobby
and Julie, well done to them they each got what they wanted.
Over all we managed to raise £546.00p which was also with the quiz nights money, a super amount especially as there is supposed to be a credit crunch!!!! at the moment, I think that is the largest amount we have ever raised on a benefit night?.
It was also Helen's birthday but we didn't find out until after the night was over, but she would of had a great night as she won most of the bottles, as you can see on the table, others were too shy to get into the other photo's but we got you,
Would like to thank Sue
from the Western for the photo's and all the hard work that herself and her girls did for the benefit, the quiz night was fun, and we were so glad that we didn't finish last. The
Western girls being the victor's there (sure they knew the answers though!!!)
Maybe we can arrange another quiz night but under different circumstances .
