This is Sitka, one of Candy's puppies. Sitka was adopted when he was a puppy by a nice family. He got out, got attacked by another dog, and was hit by a car. Sitka's adoptive people took him to Midway and when they found out how much it was going to cost to fix his leg, they said," Put him to sleep." Midway called a volunteer and she took him and is paying for his vet bill herself and is going to try to find him a good home. Bert is a male Lab/Weimaraner mix. He is about 2 years old. Bert is good with other dogs and cats. He is very strong on a leash and will need to go to someone that will continue to work with him on his pulling issues. Bert loves people and tries to please them. He is very smart. *UPDATE- Bert has been to Obedience classes and is doing great. He has changed so much in a month that it is unbelievable.* Bert has already been neutered and is up to date on his shots. Bert would love to find his forever home. Could it be your home?
