La Rochelle is a city and in western France, and a seaport on the Bay of Biscay, a part of the Altlatic Ocean. It is the capital of the Charente-Maritime.
The city is connected to the Île de Ré by a 2.9 km bridge, completed in 1988. Its harbour opens into a protected strait, the Pertuis d'Antioche.
La Rochelle's main feature is the "Vieux Port" ("Old Harbour"), which is at the heart of the city, picturesque and lined with seafood restaurants. The city walls are open to an evening promenade. The old town has been well-preserved. From the harbour, boating trips can be taken to the Île d'Aix and Fort Boyard (home to the internationally famous tv show of the same name). Nearby Île de Ré is a short drive to the North. The countryside of the surrounding Charente-Maritime is very rural and full of history (Saintes). To the North is Venise Verte, a marshy area of country, criss-crossed with tiny canals and a popular resort for inland boating. Inland is the country of Cognac and Pineau.

The flat is renovated, fully equipped, listed as an ancien monument, in a walk famous street. It is quiet and airy. Your will enjoy the beach and parcs which are at 2 minutes walking from the flat. Also, there is a lot of event and manifestation en "Cour des Dames" which is the next street. In "cour des Dames" are also all boat departure for Islands.
The bus stop is at 4min walking from the flat. You have to stop at "La Grande Horloge" one of the monument the most famous in La Rochelle. Train station (there is only one) at 10mins walking. Close supermarket, restaurant(the more famous and expensive also ... are in the street of the flat).

Appartement dans un immeuble classé situé dans le vieux port du centre ville de La Rochelle dans une rue piétonne à deux minutes de la plage et du parcs à pieds. Commerces, Parking et Bus à proximité.
L'appartement et meublé et a été rénové en 2006. Situé au 3ème et dernier étage il y a un velux plus une fenêtre qui permettent une bonne aération et ensoleillement. Il n'y a pas de bruit car l'appartement est côté cour (jardin avec arbres, palmier..).
Localisation:La rue saint-jean du pérot est une rue pietonne où sont tous les restaurants les plus chic de la ville ainsi que le theatre de "la coursive ". Dans le prolongement de cette rue se trouve d'un cote la cour des dames ou il y a tous les étés de nombreuses attractions, spectacles de rue... ainsi que le depart des bateaux de croisière pour aller à fort boyard, ile de ré, ile d'oleron , ile d'aix.
De l'autre coté de la rue se trouve la plage et le parcs rochelais avec stade de foot, terrain de basket, animaux exotiques...
