Our Faith...

We believe in the Trinity: the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ to be the Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary – truly God and truly human.

We believe that Jesus died for our sins to redeem us to Himself. We believe that He rose three days later, appeared before men, and ascended to heaven in glory.

We believe Jesus Christ will return one day to claim His people and pass judgment on all; those who believe in Him to be rewarded with eternal life in Heaven and those who have rejected Him to be punished to everlasting separation in Hell.

We believe the Bible to be true and factual, inspired by the Spirit and given to mankind for its benefit, reproof and correction.

We believe that the world was created by a living God.

We believe mankind cannot enter heaven except through Jesus Christ only.

We believe that there is power in the Spirit and that through that power we have authority over Satan.

We attain to the qualities of Galatian 5:22.

We proclaim God as Father, Holy and True, King of heaven and earth, Saviour and Friend.

Our Ministry...

Both Kristal and I feel a calling for ministry within youth, to encourage them into a life with Christ as their Saviour, helper and friend. Our endeavour is to lead, equip and send.

Lead: we endeavour to encourage youth to find God in their lives and in doing so accept Him as their Saviour.

Equip: we endeavour to train and educate youth into a lifestyle with Christ as the head and focus. To educate them about God's Word so they gain a deeper understanding of Him and seek a deeper relationship with Him.

Send: we endeavour to encourage youth to share their faith and the Gospel to other youth who are in need as they were. To encourage them to be bold in their faith despite ridicule from peers so that they may show the love of God to those who are in need of it.

We believe that to effectively reach youth we need them to understand that God loves them where they are in thier lives and for who they are, not as people think they should be.

We believe that effective youth ministry today is not about forcing them into obedience to Gods laws and commandments but firstly proving to them the love God has for them and that He is a real part of thier lives right now even though they are sinning against Him. We believe that from knowing God's love in thier lives and accepting Him the following of commandments and laws comes as a result of faith and obedience in answer to His salvation.

Verse that touched Kyrbz.....

JOSHUA 1:9

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

This verse was given to me by God during a study I did of the book Joshua. It is only in the first chapter yet, it spoke volumes to me at a time when things were not going to well for me and my wife. I felt I was on a decline away from God, and I was. I didnt want this to be happening, I wanted a life with God in it, a rich full life that I could see in so many people that were around me in my Christian circle of friends. Yet, I didnt feel "lifted", "whole", "filled with the Spirit" as they described it. I wanted much more than what I had.....

Yet, I was afraid. I was afraid of being labelled different by others. I was afraid of the jokes that would come form work colleagues who were not Christians. I was afraid of my life changing... funny thing is, sometimes I still am.

But, I knew I had to change, I knew I had to do something. So taking the bible I opened to Joshua, began reading and this verse just struck me. "Be strong, be courageous!" God was telling me. "Do not be afraid. I will be there to help you the whole way. I will pick you up if you fall, I will shelter you, guide you and protect you. Do not be afraid."

So I placed my trust in God and He has kept His word, just as He did with Joshua. He told Joshua to leave the wilderness and enter the land of their enemies for God was going to give it to them. This would have terrified Joshua, for they had spent decades wandering the wilderness and were unprepared for any battle, let alone against great cities. Joshua had no choice but to trust God.

I had no choice but to trust God. I still stumble, I still fall, I am far from perfect. but I know God is there to help me when I need Him.

Be strong, be courageous.

Welcome
