The Pagan Pride Project

K-W Pagan Pride Day is part of a global movement: the Pagan Pride Project. The mission of the Pagan Pride Project is to foster pride in Pagan identity through education, activism, charity and community.

We try to keep our purpose balanced through the inspirations of Air (Education), Fire (Activism), Water (Charity), and Earth (Community).

Our 2008 Event

Highlights

Our event for 2008 will be held in Waterloo Park on Saturday Oct 4th from 12pm - 7pm. Some highlights include:

  • FREE event for all ages
  • Workshops throughout the day
  • Pagan Book & Item Swap (bring items to swap!)
  • Rituals by the K-W Pagan Temple & Kenaz Kindred
  • Children's and Adult's activities
  • Musical performance by Thoth Ganesh
  • Potluck following the main ritual in the evening

Although K-W Pagan Pride is a FREE event open to the public, however we are asking for Food Bank Donations as part of our mandate for PPD is to have charitable work associated with the day. We've raised nearly 500lbs of food in the four previous events we've held, and we hope to have a successful food drive again this year.
