Golden Lion Tamarin

Lion tamarins have a mane derived from long hairs on the top of the head, cheeks and throat.The golden lion tamarin prefers primary lowland tropical forest from sea level to 1000 m (3300'). Golden lion tamarins are omnivorous, feeding on fruits, gum, nectar, insects, and small Vertabrates. The golden lion tamarin is diurnal and predominantly arboreal.

Gold and Black Tegu

The gold and black tegu is a small carnivorus lizard. It lives in forest clearing and feeds on fish, small mammels, small reptiles, and other small reptiles. The Gold and Black Tegu lays its' eggs in termite mounds. While the termits protect the 4-8 eggs, the young hatchlings get a free meal and an easy way out, thier hatching collapses a wall and causes the structer to fall.
