This system was founded in 1986 by Soke Dr. Ronald L. Thompson.  A style of Martial art not designed for sport or tournaments use, Dr. Thompson describes this system as being "one of the most dangerous" Arts to study.

The Kuro Tsuki Ryu Kai system is a combination of some of the most deadly techniques from three different styles of Martial arts.  Karate, Kung-Fu, and Aikido.  All of which Dr. Thompson has studied extensively and currently holds black belts in all three styles.

What I have attempted to do is to compile moves from Americn Kenpo Karate, Southern Shaolin kung-Fu,  aikikai Aikido, and U.S. Marine Corps Hand to hand combat techniques in such a manner that one can study kicks and blows and then can see the exact technique and target area, with the resulting damage to the attacker.

The most powerful techniques of karate are the kicking techniques.  They are beautiful to watch and devastating in their results.  When done by a martial artist who has adequate flexibility, control, speed, and power, kicks are unstoppable and almost unbelievably powerful.  A Black Belt is quite capable of kicking through 3 to 5 inches of wood, or stomping through several inches of concrete.  The effect of such power on a human being is usually crippling, and it almsot certainly will stop any fight from continuing.
