My name is Tandra Dunn, I am the "T" of KT'S Lone Cedar Rescues. Our rescue starts with my Wonderful Husband, Kent, the "K" in KT'S. He is my Biggest supporter in what I do and knows the Love I have for Gods Creatures. He also knows if I leave with a trailer, I'm on a mission and someone is coming home. He also helps with whatever. We are a private rescue in Southeast Nebraska near the small town of Steinauer. We have been rescuing for 4 years. We got started into rescue when we took in our first Beautiful Sanctuary Child, Amigo. Amigo was a one of kind, the next Mr. Ed. I wish everyone could have met. His actions were funny and if he could have talked, he would have been Mr.Ed....lol. Amigo came to us thru a Wonderful women, Barb K. of California. Amigo was diagnosed with Wobbles and because of Barbs love for Amigo, chose to have her beloved Amigo live his life out in Sanctuary. Amigo first came to Nebraska to live with Wendy B and then came to live with our family. Amigo lived to 8 yrs old before crossing over Rainbow bridge. Amigo is our Inspiration for helping horses in need of a second chance. We take in horses that owners have relinguished, horses from Auctions, at risk of going to slaughter, have been starved, abused, are blind, or horses that need a safehaven to call their own until they find their forever homes. If you are a horse broker or slaughter buyer....LEAVE NOW! You are not welcome.... We rescue, rehab, and adopt our Equine Kids only to the best homes. We also assist horse owners in placing their horses into homes. We will list them on our website and place horse ads for you. If you have Any questions regarding your horse, let us know, we will try to help you, if we can't answer your question. We will find out the answer or refer you to someone that can help you.
