This page is dedicated to Amigo. He is our Inspiration to continue to help other horses at a chance in life. This is Amigo's story of how he came to live with KT's Lone Cedar Rescues. One day, Wendy B. went thru the horse ads on the internet. She came across a Beautiful White Tennessee Walker gelding named Amigo. Wendy contacted Barabara in California. Barabara paid to have Amigo shipped to Wendy in Nebraska. Amigo was bred and born to be a show horse. That is why Barbara had purchased Amigo. It wasn't long after Barbara brought Amigo home, something wasn't quite right with him. Amigo had been diagnosed with Wobbles. Barbara believed Amigo should be able to live his life out and paid to have him shipped to Wendy. Wendy ran into problems with her health, but her stud horse made the situation for Amigo dangerous. My family fell in love with Amigo and Amigo came home to live with us at KT's. Amigo was always "Special" to our family and had a way of tugging at your heart. Within his herd, he was the Alpha, even to the day he crossed over. Amigo had the respect from his herd. Amigo has always had such a funny personality, I always said if he could talk, he would be the next Mr. Ed. Amigo liked Cappichino and bit half of Wendy's burrito off one day and ate it. There wasn't much he didn't like. It didn't take much for Amigo to get you to laugh at him. He was truly a character!! Thank you to Wendy and Barbara for allowing this Beautiful Boy to live his life out with us. We truly loved him and has never been forgotten. He is always in my thoughts and still brings tears when I talk about him. What a sweetheart I will have fond memories of. Amigo lived to be 9 years old before crossing over Rainbow Bridge. Horses diagnosed with Wobbles generally get put down at the age of 2 years.

WE LOVE YOU AMIGO!! MISS YOU DEARLY!!
HOPE YOU ARE ENJOYING THE GREEN PASTURES IN HEAVEN!!
