Chris recently found a very nice space for rent, and set about putting together a small recording/rehearsal studio. Never before has the "Po' Boy" moniker been so aptly applied - pretty much everything in here was stuff he already owned, the major cost was in hardware for putting together the drum baffles, hanging speakers, building shelves, etc. The goal was to create a comfortable environment where the creative juices will freely flow, and so far that seems to be happening. Night Train and the Bad Dawgs can rehearse here, Chris is going to start on a new solo project, and the studio will also be used for guitar lessons. 

Kenny lovingly restored Chris' old Rogers drum kit....this picture really doesn't do it justice....this set looks and sounds awesome! This will be the permanent "house kit" - after years stacked in a garage it's nice to see this drum kit being used for its' intended purpose.

Chris purchased this Kimball Cathedral organ from the local Missionary Baptist Church. It's a very cool instrument with a built-in Leslie speaker system, and it's pretty much loud enough to rattle the windows. Because of its' history, it also has a wonderful "sanctified" vibe to it.

Two junk guitar pieces and a clock...just seemed to go together!
