When we aren't together as Night Train.........
Dennis and Ralph both play with another band, King Midas and the Muflers...one of the longest running and most popular showbands in the Midwest....check 'em out here.....
http://www.freewebs.com/kingmidas/ or here....http://kingmidasband.com/
They've got a couple of very cool websites with lots of historic photos of the band, and be sure to check out their new CD, "Midasized"....it's a blend of stuff that was recorded in the 60's, and some brand new studio recordings with the current lineup. This is a legendary band and a great CD!
We're still mourning the passing of Bob Hapgood, a founding member, drummer, and the "King" of King Midas. Bob was widely known and was loved by his family, his friends, his radio audience and his musical fans and cohorts. Midas continues to gig, with Bob's son Bobby on drums, and our own Kenny Becker (who was hugely influenced as a drummer by Bob) will even fill the drum seat on occasion.
LONG LIVE THE KING!!!!
Chris, Steve, and Kenny decided they didn't want to sit around twiddling their thumbs on nights that King Midas is playing, so they're doing a power trio thing...called "The Bad Dawgs".

The "Dawgs" played their first show together on New Year's Eve, 2004, at Horses and Hawgs Saloon in Marquette, Kansas. What a blast!!! Good food, good tunes, and good people! A big slice of raisin pie to Grizz and the gang in Marquette for taking such good care of us. Since then, the Dawgs have played quite a few shows, including a benefit in Ox Platner's memory, Dylan and Natalie Shultz's wedding (good friends from M&M Choppers), and the Abate "River City Blowout", just to name a few. (Scroll down for some pics from the River City Blowout!)

So, whether you party with Night Train, King Midas, or The Bad Dawgs, have fun, be safe, and appoint a designated driver!
