Son of a Gun wins online Award!!!
Son of a Gun was our first Reg. buck purchased from the Double B ranch in Lueders, Tx. Son of a Gun brought in the tremendous width and bone we needed as well as a huge shoulder and good muscling throughout. Son of Guns percentage daughters were winners in the show ring and are great wether dams. We want to thank John and Dolores Barnes for breeding and selling us this fine buck. What a great foundation to build our herd on.
Sampson was purchased at the 2002 Kansas meat goat Association sale in Newton Kansas. The price was too good to pass up. We had already purchased Son of a Gun but felt that Sampson, with his Oscar breeding and long muscling, would compliment the more stocky Son of a Gun. Sampson is a more refined buck with lots of length a great topline and a good clean front. Sampson has been a tremendous wether sire. He was sold last year as we have many of his daughters on the ground.
In 2003, after seeing some beautiful paints on the ground by Son of a Gun we decided to after the color full Boer!! This beautiful, double bred EGGSTREME paint, buck, pictured here at about 8 months old, was purchased from the Double Oak in Cleburne, Tx. Thank you to David and Elaine Casstevens. Valentino possesses good bone a huge shoulder and tremendous width. Many of his kids look like little bulldogs. Tragically, Valentino was lost to a dog attack in May 2005. Semen is available from Valentino at $50.00 a straw.
Bassett was leased from the Double B boer goat ranch in Lueders, Tx. for the 2005 breeding season. Bassett is a thick muscled very correct buck with lots of length and a great topline. We are very pleased with Bassett's offspring. Look for them soon on the bragging page. Everyone of his wether kids will be in the show ring somewhere in Ks. this summer.
DRRR Lil Rascal, seen here at about 15 months in his winter working clothes, is an own son of MAUL R284 "Painted Warrior", who achieved Non-Traditional ennoblement in fall 2005. This long, exceptionally tall buck is solid all the way around. He is a very complete buck that can reproduce himself. He has been throwing color in about half of his kids. He has a strong shoulder, an excellent topline, is very correct on his feet and legs and has lots of lower stifle muscling.

2 Oak Hotstuff was purchased from the Double Oak in fall 2005. Pictured here at about 15 months, Hot Stuff has a beautiful ennobled head with a nice long neck, good bone structure and lots of meat in the right places. He is a grandson of XS Yakima Canutt and shows many of the same qualities. He has sired everything from traditional to solid red and points in between.
