Hey Everyone,

First off I hope that everyone is having a great fall semester. This year’s amazing Bull Session took place the week of November 9th-11th. The district board would like to thank everyone who attended our weekend of fun, fellowship, and service. We were excited to see old members as well as meet new members. For those who didn’t attend, the weekend kicked off with a great scavenger hunt created by the awesome Pittsburg Club. The scavenger hunt took us around the huge town of Pittsburg and gave members the opportunity to meet other CKI members. After that we did a project prepared by the Pittsburg Club by making blankets for local children. On Saturday we helped the Pittsburg Club with their lemonade stand and were treated to an exciting football game in which Pittsburg State clobbered Emporia. No offence to any of our Emporia CKI members. Later that night we had a great presentation over CKI given by Sub-Region D Representative, Ralph Johnson, and District Governor, Kalee Jo Mathes, where members learned about changes in International and service projects they could do. We ended the night by writing letters to two soldiers in Iraq and fun activities back at the house. We hope that everyone enjoyed our Circle K weekend and want to see you at your district rallies as well as in Topeka for DCON.
