KR's Abbie wins BIS (Best in Show) at the Aloha Show in Edmonton!!!

This came as quite a shock and surprise to me, as she is only 12 weeks old, and I mainly took her and her sister up there to decide who to keep. Most people cry when their animals win, I think I just stood there in disbelief, especially because the judges comments on her were so good! My dutch bunnies did very well winning 8 out of 10 trophies/ribbons available to the Dutch breed! King also did well, finally winning BOV, BOSV, & BOSB! King, Gil and Ebony are all Grand Champions Now! It was a great show and a great weekend!

Thanks to Sunnyheights Rabbitry for my new Dutch Bunnies!  2 steels and a halrequin, and they are better than I could have expected! Also, thank you to Sandra in Edmonton for my new black Dutch Buck!

I have also added a trio of Brazilian Short Tailed Oppossums to my zoo!  I am very excited to have these guys here and they are very interesting and neat little pets. I believe these are the only 2 females in Alberta, and will be one of only a couple of breeders in Western Canada!!!  I will begin breeding these little guys in the new year!
