Author's Note: Been a little while since I've written spot on 100 words.
My very first journal article proofs arrived yesterday, and while it's going
to be a bit of work to check it, it's an amazing feeling to see what it's going
to look like in print. Unbetaed (Rhonda's in OK City), so whip me for
any mistakes and just kill me if it makes no sense.
Her fingertips caress the top page as she battles with her curiosity.
She's begged him over the past year for a sneak peek, but he's refused
her even a snippet. Her argument that he was violating the fine print
of their vows resulted in more than a few heated conjugal discussions
on the desk in their study.
But the galley proofs of 'The Bartlet White House' arrived minutes ago
and he isn't home and she's just checking that the right book was delivered.
Maybe she should check all the pages...
She swallows a sob.
"Dedicated to Gail and her Mom."
