Vaclav "Wencl" Krahulec: September 28, 1868 - March 28, 1960
Marie "Mary" [Sulc] Krahulec: April 20, 1873 - September 1, 1958

Brothers Wencl and Joe Krahulec are the "original" Krahulec's that immigrated to the US in 1887
from Pecin, a small rural town east of Praha (Prague), which was then in the country of Bohemia.
(Bohemia, Moravia and Slovakia later merged to become Czechoslovakia).
Recently, Czechoslovakia split into the Czech Republic (basically Bohemia and Moravia) and Slovakia.
Both Wencl and Joe settled in the vicinity of Owatonna, Minnesota, USA.
Wencl stayed, but Joe spent time in Montana and Wisconsin before settling in Canada.

On July 20,1895, Wencl married Mary Sulc (pronounced Shultz) in Owatonna, Minnesota.
Both died in Owatonna, Minnesota, and both are buried in the Bohemian Cemetery in Owatonna, Minnesota.

Mr. and Mrs. Wencl Krahulec, their seven children and families celebrated with dinner
at the Blue Willow Restaurant, Owatonnna, Minnesota, Sunday, July 20, 1954.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Krahulec were born in Bohemia
and came to this country when they were children.
Wencl Krahulec was 85 and his wife, Mary, 81. They were married on July 20, 1895.
Children of the couple present were:
Anton "Bonus" (August 4, 1898 - September 18, 1986),
Frank "Jelle" (June 18, 1901 - November 4, 1984),
Eddie (September 12, 1905 - March 1, 2002),
George "Brown" (April 20, 1908 - October 28, 2008) and
Charles "Charlie" (July 25, 1911 - June 2, 1998), all of Owatonna;
William "Bill" (June 26, 1896 - April 11, 1970) of Oelwein, Iowa;
and daughter, Mrs. Alvin Moe (Mary)(September 17, 1918 -) of Owatonna.
There are eight Grandchildren:
