The Home of K P Bear

I was born in Sweden and came to Australia in 1971 and have never looked back. I made my first bear in 1994 from an old coat the I rescued from my dog. I gave him a blanket and washed the coat and made my first bear and the rest is history as they say. I was so pleased with the effort that I made a second one and I still have those two bears to remind me where I started out from. I work mostly in mohair and small editions. I like the designing most and making the new bear is the best.I do make other critters as well as bears and to date I have a rat and a mouse,an Eskimo and other things. I do not have a lot of time to do other things since I started making bears. But I do like animals and have a cat called Monthy and he is a very good friend and he do not mind all the stuff from bearmaking. I will also start to do workshops for the folk that are interested. It is with sadness in my heart that I write this. My dear Monthy passed away on the 23 December 2005. He died in my arms at my vets, he was starting to be very uncomfertable and it was time. It was very peaceful but sad. But I know that now he is free from pain. I was lucky to have him for 13 years and for that I am very thankful. He will be with me for ever in my memories.

May I please introduce My Max, he is my little Chihuahua. He is such a gorgeous dog and is my constant companion.

He is now 1 1/2 years old and very well behaved.
