Sort of having my break time now from studying...Well, in the morning went to McDonald's Lot 1 to have breakfast with Hui Xian but it was a totally unpleasant one... They keyed the wrong thing for her meal and when I went back to ask about it, the CREW LEADER simply just gave the "missing item" to me and didn't even make a refund! Saying that it was the same amount. I didn't know that service from a CREW LEADER at McDonald's Lot 1 is so the FUCKED up. Thanks for spoiling my day =] Anyway, brought breakfast for my mum.. my treat.. so nice of me right =]After that we came back and started to do some study. In between had a break and a lunch break, Hui Xian was so amused by the noodle my mum cook!! Lols, that was because of the ingredient in the Maggie noodle. My mum was saying. " I haven't even put prawns and egg in it." I will show you few the picture if she uploads it =] Anyway, I am not even half way through with my HOMEWORK =[ There is so much!!!Additional Mathematics
Well, don't be surprise to see this page!!!I directed you over =] from my old blog.By now you should understand that from now on you will be visiting this blog no matter what blog links of mine you typed. Which also means that this will be my new blog =]Felt so proud about this blog, I manage to get the coding up in 1 night... although the layout was made 2 years back? hahas. You see, this web was first created by me in 2006 for others uses but soon i forgot about it and just left the layout as it is and have nothing on the web. Anyway, tomorrow I will be expecting hui xian to be over for some studies... =] First time seeing me taking the initiative to study right? So must praise me =] hahas. I will be meeting her at Lot1 for a McDonald's breakfast at 8am.. freaking early eh? at least to me =[ Lots of things to do tomorrow, bet I won't even have time to be studying but all the while doing HOMEWORK.. So many past year paper to be completed and those Ten Year Series... Hope everything will just fall into its place tomorrow =]
Xin Yu was an amiable and lively girl with a cheerful and appealing disposition. She maintained good relationship and worked well with her peers. She was a conscientious and disciplined student as well as an independent learner, she set high academic goals for herself and worked hard to achieve it. She is strong in Mathematics, had scored an distinction for PSLE and was selected to participate in the Australian Mathematics Competition in 2005 as well as during primary school years. She was also selected to participate in the The University of New South Wales Science in 2005. Furthermore, in the same year she has also been awarded the Edusave Scholarship for her excellent result. In year 2006, her teammates and her represented the school and participated in the Odyssey of the Mind (LONG-TERM PROBLEM SYNOPSES ). In the same year, the whole secondary two cohort also participated in the SYF opening ceremony. In year 2007, she represented the school and participated in a Chinese Debate competition.Xin Yu is fluent with both her 1st language (English) and her 2nd language (Chinese). She is able to communicate well with her peers as well as her teachers. Although she does not come from an English speaking family, she have a good grasp of English vocabulary. She often do presentation in class and she is also a presenter and emcee for events outside school since 2007. She has gone through training and courses conducted by the company (McDonald's) to be a qualified presenter before the public. She work as a Store Activities Representatives under McDonald's, one who serve and interact with both internal and external customers as well as being their information desk and knowing the current affairs. She also handle feedbacks and complaints with grace. In year 2007, Xin Yu was awarded a national award, the Excellent Service Award Silver for outstanding contribution and commitment to excellent service SPRING Singapore and in year 2008, she is awaiting to recieve the Excellent Service Award Gold!Not only is Xin Yu an active member of The Girls' Brigade, Choir and Art Club, she also takes up leadership position. Having to participate in three CCA may seems tiring to the others student but for Xin Yu she enjoyed every moment she spend in her CCAs. During her four year in Girl's Brigade, she had participated and represented the company in a lot of major events like Resilience Trail in 2005, Esther Fez in 2006 and Drill Competition in 2008. She also took part in yearly events like the school Speech Day, National Day parade, Girl's Brigade Day, Enrollment and Dedication ceremony, Promotion and Award ceremony as well as Community Involvement Project(CIP) at St Luke's Hospital, Red Cross home for the Disabled and The Boy's Brigade Sharity Gift Box, Boy's Brigade Week. In year 2006 and 2008, she also did her CIP at Galistan Family Service Centre by going down on weekly basis to help the children with their schoolworks and preparing them for exams. In Girl's Brigade, each girl are developed to their fullest potential and enabled every girl to become a leader. Every year Xin Yu attended Leadership Conference hosted by the Girl's Brigade and every time she bound to learn something new that help her in her role as a Assistance Squad leader in year 2006 and as a Squad leader in year 2007 and 2008. Christian Education was also taught by volunteer that come down every Saturday to raise the girls to become a fine lady.In her second CCA, Choir, she had also participated in numerous event and performance and was also the secretary in 2006. Major event like the Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging in 2005, ABRSM Choral Singing exam in 2006 and in year 2008, the CCA had changed from Choir to become an A cappella group and took part in the National A Cappella Championships. She had also performed at Sentosa Musical Fountain in 2007, Cluster West 6 art performance, school events like Chinese New Year Celebration, Speech Day, Teachers Day, End of Year Award Ceremony, hall assembly etc. In year 2005 and 2006, the choir together with the St. Andrew choir had put up performance at KK hospital during Christmas. In year 2008, the Fajarcappella also put up a few songs in a Community Centre event.In her third CCA, Art Club, she was the Chairman in 2006. She had participated in "SYNERGY" Art Exhibition, collaboration work based on National Day theme with other school that was on displace at the Petir LRT, MOE Excel Fez, ART week etc. After stepping down from Art Club in 2007, she still returns when she is free to help out with their projects and also to spend time with the juniors.Apart from her CCA Xin Yu was also recognized to have potential to become a peer leader in 2006. In the same year, Xin Yu was also awarded the CIP award for students who have collated the most hours of CIP. In 2007, Xin Yu was one of the twenty-one students selected to go for the China Immersion Programme. Being away from home for two week stepping out of her comfort zone into a unfamiliar place, she had being exposed to a lot of new things and to a different culture. She had also learn how to be more independent, without her family members around her. In the same year, she had also attend a Outward Bound Singapore(OBS) 5 days camp. Although she attends camp in her CCA but this was a totally new experience for her, apart from the normal camp stuff this camp taught her how to trust and to relies on her camp mates as they go on journey in sea and on land, through test and through game and going through thick and thin together.In years to come, she see herself working in the service industrial going the extra mile for all her customers.
