Q: Would you classify the UFK as primarily online? What purpose do you see your online presence serving?

A: The UFK is primarily a land-based federation, however as all lands currently under the UFK are not habitable we carry out our business through offices on Earth. The internet offers the best and most cost efficient way to interact with our citizens and partners

Q: Does the UFK have actual territory? Do you plan to acquire territory/more territory in the future?

A: The Koronis family of asteroids constitute many hundreds of small asteroids orbiting between the planets Mars and Jupiter. Our nominal capital is located on 243 Ida however business is conducted through offices on Earth

Q: What type of government does the UFK have?

A: The UFK is a constitutional Monarchy.

Q: Does the UFK want/plan to secede from any country?

A: All territory claimed by the now Monarch was not held by any sovereign nation at the time of the claim and as such the question of secession does not arise.

Q: How does the UFK carry out foreign relations? Is there one person heading the effort or a cadre? What are the goals of your foreign relations?

A: Official foreign relations of the UFK are carried out by the Monarch or one of the ministers appointed by the Head of State. The goals of the foreign relations program of the UFK are: to establish friendly and beneficial relations with other nations and states for the mutual benefit of the combined citizens.

Q: Please describe the UFK monetary system and currency.

A: The unit of currency is the Koro. Each Koro is further divided into 100 Kao. To facilitate business the value of the Koro is set to be equivalent to $AUD. At present the Koro is not recognised on Earth and as such transactions using Koro can only be conducted by mutual agreement between two parties. The transactions however must be recorded as officially having taken place in equivalent $AUD.

Q: Can I become a citizen of the UFK

A: Yes, provided you do not have a criminal record under any jurisdiction. Citizenship maybe be revoked if you are found guilty of a criminal offence in any other jurisdiction other than UFK
