The United Federation of Koronis

The basic unit of currency is the Koro which is divided into 100 Kao. As most business is conducted on Earth the value of the Koro has been set as equal to the Australian Dollar. The Koro is not a recognised medium of exchange on Earth and thus is used mainly for inter-departmental transactions and as a medium of exchange between the Citizens. Purchase or sale of any goods which would have implications with Australian law are also recorded as having occured in Australian Dollars.

On 26/4/06 The United Federation of Koronis issued its first coins. A set of four (4) were issued in the denominations of 5, 10, 25 and 50 Kao. The coins were minted using lithographic transfer onto a metal disc. The coins are 25mm and 50mm in size in silver (5Kao and 10Kao) and gold (25Kao and 50Kao) finshes and all show the Coat of Arms of the federation. The 5Kao and 10Kao coins are single sided while the gold finished 25Kao and 50Kao are double sided.

A limited number of the new issues is being made available to collectors on a first come basis. The collector coins are only available as a set of all 4 coins for $AUD 25.00 (Post free in Australia). A nominal postage charge of $AUD 5.00 will be added for all overseas orders. Note all items are posted at buyers risk.

After your order has been processed you will receive a paypal invoice detailing your purchase and instructions on how to pay. We do not accept any other form of payment. Collector sets are limited to maximum mintage of 50 sets.

A very small number of a trial striking of double sided 5Kao coins are available at $AUD 25.00 each + Postage as above. Only 5 coins were minted for the trial and only 3 are being made available to collectors. These again will be on a first come basis.
