Hello, this is the "secret garden" part of the site. You don't see it when you first come to the site, you kind of stumble across it, but that's what makes it so fun. I'm sorry it has to be this way, but freewebs doesn't give me enough space, so I have to run this site with 4 accounts. The first is the home section, 2nd is this section, 3rd is the showz section, and the last one is for awards and gifts. I should also mention that freewebs only lets me have 50 pictures in a section, which really limits how much I can put up. So please don't hold the hidden pages against me, I honestly can't help it or fix it. I wanted to move to angelfire, but I'm really lousy with html. I can only do some of the basics used for this site, and what you see when you go to my personal site. Someone made me a layout, and I can't even figure out how to fix the iframes or whatever it is. I have gotten bad reviews for using freewebs, because of the lack of html, and cool self made layouts, but I don't have the ability to do a html site. I tried it, and have the proof that I'm not very good. I HAVE tried multiple tutorials, but just don't get it. So I'm asking you nicely, especially if you are doing a site review, do not hold it against me. The old petz sites weren't so big on appearance as content. I have tried my hardest to make up for lack of html and cool self made layouts by lots of content. Showz, Quizzes, the fun stuff page, games/ contests, etc. Technically I'm part of the older generation because I remember Dogz 1. I owned it when it first came out, and played it. I had a dinky little site, no idea what html was, but was perfectly happy checking out other sites to see interesting petz, put them in showz, etc. Because of this, I think people should change some of the ways they do reviews, if it puts emphasis on appearance. Content is important! What's the use of having a great looking layout, with lots of cool graphics, is they have four buttons saying about, steal, adopt, and leave, which you finish looking at in less then five minutes? Wouldn't you prefer spending hours on a site that doesn't look incredible with layouts and graphics, but keeps you entertained for an hour? Some people need to work on their priorities. I'm sorry this turned into a rant, but I have gotten quite a few reviews lately putting emphasis on how freewebs pre-made layouts look like crap, and how I don't have enough graphics. Get over it, and judge a site for what really matters, how long it entertains you, and the unique content it has. When I do reviews I do say oh the layout looks cool, or cute or whatever, but I go page by page and give opinions on mostly everything. I do spell checks, ask questions, and try to make it easier, better for others, but letting the owner know. I do not say you need better layouts or more graphics, although they do look good, and sometimes you could use one or two to spice up empty spaces. Ok, I think I'm done now, hopefully I didn't offend anyone, but maybe made someone think. If you decide you need to comment on this you can email me, but please don't send me hate mail. Believe it or not this was the original banner for KK~PP. That was also my style for awards until I had some practice, now I use pictures for backgrounds instead of the spray paint tool all over the place.
