YOUTH EMPLOYMENT FOUNDATION
Available projects
We hope to implement all this initiative as planned and we will work towards it and see our dreams come true.
In this area, we are going to organize workshops on the need to equip the youth on employment and empower them for their future. Since they are our future leaders. This program is going to continue until we see that the youth unemployment in Ghana has reduce to a single digit.
We are going to be involved in almost all-developmental project in our community and also make sure to implement all our projects that are being enacted by our executive, and also to organize workshop on the need to get the youth involved in all community projects.
It is our main goal to streamline the development of youth in Ghana since the youth has been neglected for a long time, we are going all out to pressurize the government on youth development and even go ahead to petition the Government on youth empowerment initiative and also youth development center since we do not have one in Ghana.
Youth Volunteering
For youth, volunteering brings a new sense of confidence, self-gratification and a good way to interact in the "grown-up world". It also enables young people to develop new communication, career building and social skills that will be useful in other facets of their lives.
An important priority for most volunteer managers is to recruit effective and competent volunteers while helping in their personal development. Youth volunteers bring boundless energy, fresh perspective and vitality to the organization
Volunteering together is a creative way for families to enjoy each other's company while making a contribution to the community. Today, families come in as many shapes and sizes as there are volunteer opportunities. Youth employment foundation is developing capacity-building resources to help create family volunteering opportunities within community-based organizations and to promote the benefits of family volunteering as an innovative way to make a difference. Through involving families, volunteering becomes a real possibility for thousands of people of all ages
Employer-Supported Volunteerism
Volunteers around the world are addressing social, economic, cultural and humanitarian needs. Ghana is beginning to see an emerging trend around employer-supported volunteerism. Today more than ever, companies are supporting and encouraging employee volunteer initiatives in the community.
Having employees involved in voluntary activity sends a message to the community that the business sector is concerned about community issues. By supporting community, businesses are building the overall health of the community. In turn, a better business climate is established and the well being of employees and customers increases. Supporting employees who are in leadership roles in the community increases the visibility of the business, strengthening employee morale and the pride employees have in the company they work for
